I just got banded March 4th. I have a BMI of 33.4 with no co morbidities. Had no problem getting the surgery done paying cash.

Thanks for all the advise. I cant wait, its 10 days now. I scheduled my phych eval and i am going to try to schedule my blood work also before I go in and that way he knows how serious I am. The waiting stinks. But I know this is the only the first step of the wait. Has anyone got a surgery date at the first visit before? That would be great!!!

Met with the Doctor yesterday and he gave me my surgery date. Which will be April 14th. I cant wait. It is going very fast now. Went for my pre-op class last night and need to schedule my nutrition class and some other thing before the 14th. Crazy...

Kimberly, I am so excited for you. Do you have a date yet? I am doing good. My date is 4/14. I started a pre-op diet and have lost 4 lbs so far since saturday. Just kinda doing a low-carb and shake mixure type thing just to get used to eating less. Have the timer on my phone set so that I eat every 3 hours or so. That seems to be helping alot. Please let know all the details of your surgery. Yaaayyy Us....
