What an inspiration you are!! I hope to be banded in a few weeks. If you can remember back when you first got the band, any suggestions for protein intake? Any other outstanding points from your journey?

May 25th is my date. Start pre-op diet May 11th. Im excited but a little scared.

Insurance Approved!!!!! Got my surgery date of May 24th

It's funny how you can be sooo excited one moment and scared to death the next, but I am really looking forward to a new chapter in my life. I have been doing a liver shrinking diet for a few weeks now and will do that up until the day before surgery which is protein shake for breakfast and lunch and light dinner of veggies and lean meat. Lots to do to get ready!

I'm getting banded tommrow (May 3rd) I can't wait.

I had to do that past 2 days I liquid diet.. Yesterday I didn't mind having liquids..Today was tough because my stomach was so hungry then I had to take Laxatives yesterday so I occourse lastnight was up all night going to the bathroom!!!..LOL. But I'm only 14 hrs away from getting banded. I should be able to post something from my cellphone on how things went.

I will hopefully be banded on the 17th! I am so excited, nothing official yet. I'm still waiting for insurance to approve me. I should know by next week. Yay! I just got my surgery date for May 24th also Keep in touch! Maybe we can help eachother in those few days after since we'll really be in it together. I have a 2 week clear liquid diet, no veggies or lean meat before so hoping I can get through that without too much trouble!

I am being banded on the 3/10/11 in the afternoon. I will be at the Marina Del Ray bariatric center. I hear it is a center of excellence so they are very experienced. I do have a few worries. I had to be transfered from the Advanced Surgical institute of Huntington Beach (the skinny capital of the universe) to this office in Beverly Hills that works out of the hospital. So I do not even know my doctor. I have never meet anyone from the office I am having my surgery out of. HAHAH I do hear that there are a few people ahead of me that day....Maybe I'll run in to someone from this site....C'MON! anywho....I cant wait to lose the weight. I plan on putting in a lot of work so that next may I can start tanning my stomach too....since it hardly see's the light of day anymore.....=) wish me luck.

I am scheduled for May 9th and my insurance has approved it so it should work!
