I was banded on 11/4 and have lost 70lbs to date with out a fill. I am feeling so much better then I can ever remember. I am having a problem with clothes but I don't mind if those are my issues. I don't get winded at work anymore just walking around the fab. I have better days at work and love it. Thanks everyone for your support on this sight.

One thing you might want to talk to your doctor about is to watch for gallbladder issues. Really rapid weight loss can cause problems with the GB. There's medications that can be given to prevent problems down the road. Just a FYI.

It took me 5 months to lose 70 lbs and I came up with GB problems.. something to think about.

I had GB issues before lap band surgery and had to have it removed...must say GB surgery is a piece of cake!

Wow, I was banded the same day and I've only lost 40 pounds since then. Way to go!

Remember that is 40 lbs closer to your goal. So instead of saying only say "Oh Yeah that is 40lbs I will never see again." Keep it up.
