Pound for Pound challenge group!! Give back with the band!!!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!!! The biggest loser season 10 just ended! And this starts a new round of the pound for pound challenge. Its an awesome charity that the biggest loser does! For every pound that is pledged to be lost, the biggest loser donates to the Feeding America project that funds food banks to fight hunger in America.

I have created a team for Bandsters to join to fight the fight against obesity while helping to end hunger in America. Simply go to this link

http://www.pfpchalle...om/default.aspx

and sign up....ITS FREE... then go to find/join a team..... the name of our team is BandGivesBack

it is based out of portsmouth ohio...but whatever state you live in you can join the BandGivesBack family to help end hunger! I look forward to seeing you all on our team! You can pledge up to 50 pounds and I encourage you to PLEDGE BIG !! The more we pledge the more biggest loser will donate! So go to the above link to help give back and get motivated!!!! Invite your friends lets make this a big effort by the band community!!!

Michelle! :D

Dont panic if your pounds pledged do not show up right away!!! The group has to reach a total of 4 members in order for them to show! But I am sure we will get there quick!! Spread the word!!

I ♥♥♥ the biggest loser! I have been trying to do this even before getting banded.

I try to join but it doesn't recognize the team name, I even searched by city & state. HELP! :)

I also had to do the same as going to find the team name and then registering and joining. But hopefully it worked. It's always nice to be able to give back, I think this is a great thing you started Inspire, hopefully more will join.

I just joined the team!! Just out of curiosity - will they automatically donate the food or do we have to somehow report as we lose weight?

I was able to join this morning! I had to scroll thru the team names in order to join - I couldn't just search on the team name. Our team is currently ranked #13. We need more members. We currently have pledged 230 pounds with 5 members.

Join our Pound for Pound Challenge Team "Bandgivesback"!

Awesome!

I've joined the team. :D

When looking for it though, I noticed that some of the teams had Facebook groups and some didn't.... I think we should have one too. For me it would be major accountability!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
