getting on my nerves

Recommended Posts

I have a problem that is really getting on my nerves here. I have no idea if anyone else reading this has the same problem or not but, I will never know unless I ask. Right? So anyways. It seems that every time I lay down I start gurggling. This only happens when I lay down. Sitting up, I don't have a problem, but the second I lie down, the gurggling starts. My husband actually woke me up the other night cause it was so loud and constant. I have trouble getting to sleep but once I fall asleep, I am fine.

Is anyone else having this gurggling problem or am I alone on this one? I don't know what it could be. Maybe I am swallowing to much air or something. I don't think it is anything serious enough to contact my doctor over at least I hope its not. HELP!!!!!

I gurggle when I sit up or lay down so I'm not much help. I think it's because the lower stomache is empty. Don't know if as time goes by it just gets used to being empty and gives up asking for food.< /p>

well I am over 2 yrs out and im still doing it

I don't know if this was just me or it happens to others, but about 20 months out, I got a fill and I started gurgling all the time. I had never really done much gurgling before, just once in a while. After 2 months, I decided I was too tight and I got a small unfill. Magically the gurgling and all other forms of noise stopped. I think for me, I make weird noises when I'm really tight. Now, I keep my band fairly loose and my stomach is happy. I doubt this is the case for everyone, but I think I've picked up on another strange sign from my body that I need to listen to.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
