Hi guys! I am scheduled for 8am tomorrow (12/03/2010) and I am feeling anxious and a bit scared. None of my family or friends think this is a big deal and it kind of makes me feel alone. It's a HUGE deal to me.

Mine is a week from today and I am nervous too. Perhaps your family is trying to minimize it to keep you calm? My mom keeps telling me it's goin to be fine, not a major surgery, no actual cutting, etc. She means well but it is still scary.

I'm 2 weeks PostOp and I was more anxious then nervous, I just wanted to be on the other side of the fence My mom was more nervous then I was. Though I woke up that morning at 4:30a cause I couldn't sleep... Good Luck on your Special Day

Tomorrow will be a great day in your life. Of course your anxious, that is just normal. Your family I am sure supports you they just probably don't understand hwo you are feeling. Hang in there and Congrats.
