4th of July Challenge!

Here we go again! This one is going to be a long one. Lets see who wants to join this week and have our first weigh in next Sun/Mon.

My goal is to lose the last 14 by the 4th! That is 8 weeks! Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know how to make a spreadsheet?

I don't know how to do a spread sheet, but I would like to join in since I did horridly with the Mother's Day Challenge! I am going to shoot for 15 pounds over the 8 week period, hopefuly I will find restriction and get over this plateau!

Good luck everyone.

Sign me up, Buttercup! My goal will be for 15 by the 4th. That will put me 1 pound below the next biggie milestone I'm aiming for (175).

Wow--I really like this band!

I'd like to join too. And I also would like to lose my last 15 by the 4th. I don't know how it works or where I return to post my weigh ins. Please fill me in. Thanks.

I'd like to participate as Independence day is just one week prior to my summer vacation.

I could use some guidance though as I'm not really sure what I should target for since I'm not on solid foods yet so don't really have a good barometer to go by.

I've got 19 more days on full liquids and the weight has been coming off pretty well so far with that program. I've lost 15 lbs. since banding, 27 since pre-op liquid diet and 32 overall since beginning to work with the nutritionist pre-op. Just not sure what I should expect to lose based on ~3 weeks full liquids plus ~5 weeks of solid food, probably without much if any restriction.

Any help for setting a realistic short term goal would be much appreciated.

TIA,

Katy

I would love to join in: This will be my first challenge: so if you could tell me what to do I would appreciate it! I am going to try for 15 pounds. I turn the big 40 on the 10th and I was shooting for 250 by then: that will put me at 248!

I want to join in too!! I want to lose 16 lbs!! It will be a challenge since I am currently in Bandster Hell, but it will give me something to work for!!

I am in again I will aim for 12 lbs this time. Hope this challenge goes better than the last.

I'm in for 8 lbs.

I want to join. I was shy 2 pounds of my mother's day challenge. I think I will shoot for 20. I know I have to get out there and exercise that will help me. I had my first fill and things are going good so far. Happy Mother's day to all you mothers as well trish

I was told to plan for an average of 3 pound a week, that may be high but if you are following things and exercising I dont think it is to unrealistic. When are you scheduled for a fill?

I'm in for 15lbs off by 07/04/10

realize band:04/19/10

starting weight 270

current: 255:w00t:
