Weight Watchers Online: Support Thread
I have no problem eating my 29 pts with 6cc in my band, and some weeks I eat more flex points than others especially if they are slider foods. Some days I am not as hungry so I may have 1 or 2 of my daily pts left, but WW is certainly what I needed to get the ball rolling again and the pounds dropping. I love my BAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I think you would do great on WW, I have loss 8 pounds since joining 5 weeks ago and it has been really easy to stay on track. I went to my lapband PA on yesterday and was praised yet again for my weight loss and I told them I had joined WW and they said it was fine. I eat all of my 29 points and a little more than half of my flex points and still been able to lose fine. Good luck on your decision but I do recommend WW.

Weight Watchers Online: Support Thread
Hello all, I was banded on March 19, 2010 starting at 246 lbs the day of surgery 239 and by November 2010 with 3 fills and 5.5cc's in band I made it to 191 lbs and kinda stayed between 188-191 for 4 months. Old habits started creeping in, not eating large quantities but eating too many sweets and such, so while reading this forum I decided to joined WW 2 weeks ago and had my 4th fill bringing me to 6cc's ......I have loss 5.2 since joining WW and sooooo glad I did because I was eating way too much and I think you guys are right lapband + restriction+WW= weight-loss and success. It really has been easier to stay with my points each day and I barely use my flex points but some times I do use some. Hope this helps someone who is considering joining WW for a little more structure and accountability.

Ohhhhh now I get it! lol
Wow, that is so awesome and a confirmation to my decision to just do protein shakes for 2 weeks and fruit and veggies prior to taking a trip to West Africa. A total cleansing is needed for my body. Thanks for posting and God bless!

Is it just me?
Hello, I have lost 55 lbs since March when I was banded, at consult I weighed 246 day of surgery 239 and now 191. People say I have lost enough but I am still to close to the 200's and my goal is 165..I may feel different when the scale reads 175 I don't know cause have not seen that number since the 7th grade so with that being said I would definetly keep going if I were you. Hope this helps sn: it is getting harder to reach my goal but I will keep pushing through.

Glad Holidays are over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!! i ate soooo bad since Christmas Eve but I am back on the grind today. Counting calorie, measuring my food and of course drinking lots of water. Hopefully the 5 lbs is just fluid cause I have been going to the bathroom a lot from all the water I'm drinking. I am focused on getting these last 25 lbs off....looking forward to maintenance.

202...uggg!!!
I was stuck at 202 for 3 weeks and it was not a good feelng, so this is what I did....I went on strict Atkins diet for 1 week, ate nothing but meet and veggies I stayed around 1200 calories and sometimes a little less because the protein satisfied me, I loss down to 198.8 in 6 days also I pushed my water, its still moving a little slow but got tired of just meat and veggies so went back on regular diet. My current weight is 193 goal is 160. Hope this helps!

Low Energy
I was feeling that tired and so out of it and I started taking B12 and it has made the world of difference. A friend of mine had the gastric (we have the same surgeon) and she just told me that I can ask for a prescription for the B12 shots and give them to myself. She also said she knows that it helped her get to her goal quicker too. I go back to my bariatric doctor on November 30th and hopefully I can switch to the shot instead of the pill. Hope this helps!

Vitamins, Calcium, and B12?
Hello, about 3 weeks ago I was feeling sluggish and depressed wondering why, especially after going from 246 lbs to 195 lbs I should have been bouncing off the walls. My sister told me she started taking B-12 (she does not know I have lapband) and it was keeping her balanced and more energy. I started and boy does it make a BIG difference, so I am taking (at bedtime) centrum chewables, B-12, B-6, vitamin D, folic acid and Viactiv calcium chews...now I feel complete and whole again.
