I'm being banded about June 16th. I should know the date for sure by the end of this week. I'm so excited but also very scared. I'm afraid I will be the a freak anomoly that will actually gain weight. I don't really think it has totally set in that it is actually gonna happen after all this time. I haven't really told anyone about it just in case. I'm so obsessed with this site right now. I spend hours on it every day. Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Well, I wish everyone lots of luck and looking forward to making this journey with the June banders.

I'm scheduled for June 9th and can't wait! Looking forward to 2011 and starting a new life.

I am scheduled to be banded on June 1st in Minneapolis Mn. I have been on the pre-op liquid diet for a week now. Its been tough but tolerable and I am glad I am going through all of these craving before I get banded.

Hi everyone. This is my first post. Been mostly reading alot of posts. I got my approval letter today and I'm scheduled to get banded on June 7th. Im looking forward to my journey as I embark on this new and exciting chapter in my life. Im starting to get nervous, but its mostly how I will adapt. Good luck to everyone!!!

June 9th here. My 29th Birthday! I'm getting really anxious. Not nervous, but anxious and just ready for it to be here already! I've been waiting months now because I set my date for summer break (I work at an elementary school) so its been a long wait for me.

Hi iJenny,

I'm the 30th. I'm ready too. I started the end of last Aug. I'm really :tongue2: really ready. Good luck!

I have a 4 week diet of liquid Protein Breakfast and lunch, with 4 oz lean protein for dinner, so my diet might be different than yours, but one thing i've found to kind of take the edge off the hunger is to boil 1 cup of chicken broth, once boiling drop in 1 egg white, to make a kind of generic egg drop soup. It's under 50 calories, less than 1 gram of fat, less than 1 gram of carbohydrates, but lots of protein, and fills me up for the night

You will do great. The first two days are very hard... but stick through it. The 3-4 day will be easier and by then youre almost there. I am on a 2 week liquid diet. Today is day 6 for me. I am super excited to know that I am halfway through. Keep a positive mind.

Hi,

Last week I had my surgery moved up from July 7th to June 30th. This afternoon I had a message from the office that "They had a cancelation and would I like to move up to June 16th?" WOW!!!! I just said YES.

That means I start my 2 week pre-op diet next Tue.

YAAAAAAAAAAAA!! Now I'm really excited:laugh:. I have to get all my Protein Powder and supplies.
