Hello everyone!  My name is Jerilyn and I am hopefully on my way to getting banded.  My first appointment with the surgeon was yesterday 5/11/10.  I have my psych eval tomorrow 5/13/10.  According to the surgeon's office my paperwork should be sent to my insurance next Monday.  I have BCBS Fed and have been told that it shouldn't be a problem getting my surgery approved since my BMI is over 40. Only time will tell and let me tell ya, time is going slow!  I have my heart so set on this and will be crushed if I am denied.  I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts and look forward to sharing my own journey if all goes well.  I will post updates as soon as I have them!  Keep your fingers crossed :)
