Ok, I had a fill on Tuesday afternoon (3/2). He put in 2CCs (as opposed to 1CC from previous fill). I have been on liquids and today was supposed to be mushies. However, I tried this a.m. to take one bite of watery oatmeal and got stuck. It finally went down after a minute or so, but it was painful. I tried yogurt but it does not go down well either. I can drink small sips so I know I won't get dehydrated. I have been sipping all day. Am I too tight? Should I have a little removed? I have only had my band since October and have never had a 'stuck' episode. I do not know if I should give it a few more days or not.

I just got my first fill - 3cc and I feel the exact same way! Even Protein shake is too thick!

Looking forward the replies you get!

If you can get enough liquids in you to stay hydrated, I would hold off for a few days to see if things loosen up as swelling goes down.

I completely agree, if you can stand it, I would give it atleast a week! I thought I was WAY too tight with my last fill but toughed it out and I think I found my sweet spot:) hang in there!

I was bandedon on 11/25/09 and I just had my 3rd fill on Feb.18th. I felt the same way u do, it hurt so bad to eat just yogurt or broth (it felt like someone was cutting my insides when I tried to eat). I called my Doc. and he said to give it a few more days, and he was right, I feel great. He said I might be really swollen with this fill. Good luck I hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies. It is a little better today. I have been able to eat mushies if I do it extremely slowly.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
