I'm not in the metro area, but I am in Manhattan...about 1 hour 45mins from OP.

I was banded in Overland Park at Weight Loss Surgical Center...(on 135th and 69 highway-i think).

I live in Salina, but try to make it back to Overland Park for support group meetings.

I really wish I could find either some fellow bandsters around my area, or a closer support group. (KStateArmywife, how are you doing???)

Have you been banded yet? Thinking about it? If so, where did you get it done?

I will be banded tomorrow @ Malley surgi ceneter. I feel more frequent, smaller support groups might be an advantage.

b9409 I was banded at WL surgical center as well. I can not say enough positive things about them. Do they still do your fills?

Hello! I was banded at Shawnee Mission 8 months ago. I still need a support group. But I'm 97 lbs down:) Good luck! I Love My Band!!

Hello Peaches36--I was just banded on monday and am working with lady kcusa to start a little group however i don't think that i can meet with anyone out side of online for a week or two. congrats on the 97 pounds in 8 months that is great!!!!!!!

There's a support group meeting on Saturday March 13th at New Hope Bariatrics (435 and Nall). Anyone want to go? From what I read it's the second saturday of every month. Is there anyone that's attended it before?
