Mine did for about 6 weeks...but then the combination of the port healing (takes about 8 weeks) and losing my belly...well...

.

For me, not at all. With the weight loss sex is getting better and better with each pound I shed.

I dont have the band yet, but I am hoping it will greatly improve my sex life becasue I will feel more confident.

thanks all !!! im sure the weight loss will improve the sex life but in the beginning is the site painful if you try different positions

You'll be fine. . just take it easy at first! And, as you start feeling better and better about your body. . and have less body holding you back, you'll be surprised by how great things can be! Have fun! ;)

Best wishes,

Catherine

but do any of you who already have the band feel like your desire to have sex has diminished? i have a friend who has the band and she lost all desire shortly after the surgery. i've also watched a few youtube vids by banders who say they have lost the desire, too. me and my husband are both worried about this. lol
