Valentine Day Challenge?

Recommended Posts

What the heck I'm going to set my goal high so I'm going to have to work hard to reach it.

I'm 333 currently I wanna be 299 - I'm sick and tired of being over 300. My program offers a personal trainer at the hospital for a few weeks as part of the program - I have my first appointment with him tonight. I'm going to tell him to work me over biggest loser style.

I did 3 miles on the treadmill monday night in an hour. I also made a goal of 40 miles walked this month.

I am down 0 this week. I had lost 1lb as of Wednesday, but then all this bloating hit me and I gained 3lbs. (The joys of being a woman!) I managed to lose them again though and get back to where I started.

Hopefully next week will be better.

My goal was 10 lbs by 2/14. Last week I weighed in at 238.6. As of this morning I am 232.2, down 6.4 pounds in 1 week! I might actually lose enough weight to get a sugery date. I need to be 226.5 or less to get a surgery date.

I'm late, as always, but I totally want in. I'd gained a few lbs over the holiday and need to get back on track. I am at 292 as of Friday 1/8/09 and I would like to lose 13lbs to put me at 279. I'd better get on it. So far this weekend was good. But I have travels next week and that makes me nervous.

My official weigh in today was 181.5. I would like to be at 169 by 2/14/10. This is a little aggressive for me as I've never lost more than 7 lbs in a month, but I'm challenging myself to lose 12.5 lbs by then.

Unfortunately zero lbs. lost this week but at least I didn't gain. Still at 181.5.

Joined a Zumba class after work (Mon/Wed) and Kickboxing (Tues). Will do my kickboxing tape 2 more days during the week so the weight should start to come off again.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
