Missing one day of vitamins
So, during the week, I'm very good on vitamins. I have a timer on my computer at work that helps me keep track of these. When I'm home on the weekends, things are a little less easy to handle. Is it really a big deal if I miss a single day, so long as I'm good the rest of the week?

Pounds lost
Congrats to everyone. I just dislike the fluctuation. Went from 303.5 yesterday to 304.8 this morning, and I bet I'm down to 302.x tomorrow. I really should stop weighing myself every day, but it makes a neat graph on my phone.

Understanding the stall
Well, weight moved downward again this morning. one pound closer to below 300.

Consumption
I'm up to about half a cup, but I did 2 oz when I started.

Realizing just how fat I was...and still am
Dude, coming from someone who started their journey at around the same place, I have to say congrats. You definitely look like you've lost a lot.

Understanding the stall
It's really frustrating. Dangint, I just want to be below 300 already. I'm so close.

Understanding the stall
As for the exercise thing, I typically eat right before I'm about to go exercise/swim. It gives me the energy to do it.

Understanding the stall
So, one thing I don't really understand much of is what's actually going on when we stall. Per calculations, at my weight, my resting BMR is something on the order of 2900 kcal per day. I'm eating about 6-900 kcal a day. Logically, I should be losing weight this whole time, but I stall or even fluctuate in an upward direction at times. I'm walking a bit, perhaps not as much as I should, and I'm swimming, again perhaps not as much as I should. But if it's just calories in vs calories out... that's a deficit of close to 2000 calories. I should be losing about 4 lbs a week. I'm hitting my protein goals, my water goals, and I'm getting my vitamins in. What's happening here?

Stalls
I seem to have mini stalls every week or so due to fluctuation, but then I drop like 4 lbs in three days.

What can you tolerate and when
I can tolerate Real Good Food chicken crust pepperoni pizza, but for some reason, the uncured bacon one of the same brand causes issues for my stomach, as I discovered yesterday.

Blood Donations
I read that you shouldn't donate blood until you're 3-6 months out, but it's a question that you should ask your surgeon.

Crunchy salty snacks
Whisps are pretty good and sold on the store here. So are Cheddies.

Three Bites Too Many
Honestly? No gas or diarrhea issues, even from Taco Bell.

Three Bites Too Many
That said, I do still like Taco Bell, and I'm glad there are things that I can enjoy there that give me good protein for my meal plan. My big thing right now is targeting high protein foods in general.

Three Bites Too Many
Honestly, what I meant by sad is that before this was only a part of the meal. Now, due to the pain, it's more than one meal. The previous state was sad, not the current one.

Three Bites Too Many
Honestly, the real fun one was this weekend. I didn't eat too much; I managed to actually stop myself in time. I'd had the Yucatan Shrimp small plate from Red Lobster (went out with the wife). Thing is, I didn't account for how much sugar was in the pineapple in the sauce. I was fine until about 2-3 hours later when I started to severely cramp up. I also had a small sip of the Diet Coke my wife had. Found I didn't like it at all. Considering I used to chug the stuff, that was interesting to me. Honestly? I'm not sure. I'm technically cleared for "everything" so long as I target my protein first and get in my 65-85 grams of protein a day. What my dietician has me limiting is sugar. No more than ten grams per meal.

Three Bites Too Many
For lunch today, i decided to have a shredded chicken mini-quesadilla from taco bell with extra shredded chicken. It went down okay, and to my surprise, I was able to eat the entire thing. Except, after taking those last couple bites... and now lasting more than half an hour later, I'm in physical pain as my restriction kicked in. Holy crap, this hurts. I'm currently hoping that it's not stuck because I've had that happen before. I'm not making this mistake again. If I do eat that again, it will only be half. (It's sad because before the surgery, I'd eat one of these in addition to whatever else I ordered at Taco Bell.)

NSV during a stall
So, weird thing today for me. I've been stalled at roughly 310 lbs for the past few days. However, when I went to put on my belt today, I was able to pull it even tighter than it was before without it being uncomfortable. Now, leather belts can stretch, but it's possible that I've lost inches without losing weight.

How many laproscopic holes?
I have six. Four small ones and two larger ones.

New Scale
So, my old scale gave up the ghost, started measuring in obviously wrong ways. I bought a new scale from here, one that can measure body fat percentage and link with my phone app. (The Yunmai scale). The scale shows me weighing about seven lbs. more than the other scale did. It's a little annoying to think that the other scale was probably inaccurate by that amount.

Bypass v’s Sleeve..... help!
Originally, I was planning the sleeve, but after doing research, I ended up going with the bypass. More weight loss, better staying off, and well, I feel pretty good at nine weeks out.

Pounds lost
Two months and 55-57 lbs now. (My scale, unfortunately, is screwing up. The analog scale my wife has is probably not accurate above 300 lbs, and I'm definitely not below 300 lbs.)
-
Pounds lost
Yeah, i get something that might be hunger, but it's a lot less demanding than before.
-
When did your weight loss slow down?
I'm about two months out, and I've lost about 52-54 lbs. (Fluctuating a bit). It seems like I'm stalling a bit now, but I know that it'll be broken eventually. If I lose 10 more lbs, I'll be below 300.

I don’t dump
I haven't dumped yet... I have had food get stuck. I've had food not agree and come instantly up, but no dumping. I haven't had anything with more than ten grams of sugar in it yet. Cheese, no matter the fat content, doesn't make me dump.
