  1. Agreed with everyone above. Congratulations are in order.
  2. I use Halo Top all the time and I'm still losing.
  3. 6.5 months out. I'm down 103 lbs. You'll get the restriction for certain.
  4. So far, I've managed to luck out. I've lost over 160 lbs since my heaviest and I don't have any loose skin. Of course, I'm only 32.
  5. Amazing progress man. You're an inspiration.
  6. So, I currently take a multivite in the morning, then two-ish hours later, I take my 2000 IU Vitamin D and the first calcium chew. I take the remaining two calcium chews two hours apart after that. What's the minimum amount of time you should wait between the vitamins?
  7. You'll be fine now that it's out. It's definitely never a pleasant experience when the chicken gets stuck, and it's a notorious thing for doing so. I had an episode on Sunday where something I ate fine the previous day ended up giving me issues the next. Of course, I immediately knew it was going to be a problem when I felt myself swallow it. Thing was way too big and not chewed enough.
  8. Nicely done. I hope that all of us here can find such success.
  9. I'm right there with you. I'm in a stall at the moment myself. Have been for a week.
  10. In less than an hour. Back when I was doing low carb in high school (Got down to 190-ish), tic tacs were my go-to "low-carb" candy. I thought they might be okay here. I was wrong.
  11. Well, I had these mini-containers and they had about 8 in each... and I had a total of four containers... so, 64 calories, 32 g of sugar.

Ah, that explains it. I was 360.8 on surgery day myself.

Shoot, you're lower than me and in less time. What did you weigh on surgery day?
  14. Oh, tic tacs, those delicious little 2 calorie mints can cause some serious issues if you're thinking about having them. Serving size: 1 tic tac, Calories per tic tac: 2. Sugar, according to the box: 0 g. But my title isn't a lie. That 0g of sugar is a sneaky little brat. It's actually 0.5g of sugar. So, the more tic tacs you have, the more sugar you're taking in. Also, the calories do add up, but with how little calories you're taking in per day as a bariatric patient, that matters far less than the sugar. Guess who had a blood sugar crash due to an insulin spike due to too much sugar...
  15. Try increasing water consumption.
  16. Yeah, I know that it's only September, but this will be my first Thanksgiving post-op. Of the standard stuff, I know eat in small amounts, moderation, and stop when I'm full, but what sorts of alternatives do people suggest making?
  17. I started the process at 415 lbs. at the start of the six month diet and exercise program. I was 360.8 on the day of surgery, and as of today, I am 267.7 lbs. My highest weight was 427. I don't exercise nearly as much as I should, but I do swim and mow the lawn. I also walk around my work a lot during the day. I've found I'm able to walk around a lot more in general.
  18. A big part of why we all got this particular surgery over any of the others is the malabsorptive aspect. What I'd like to know is if anyone knows if there's an easy way to calculate approximately how many calories we actually absorb per... say, 100 calories.
  19. Me, today. Me, at my highest weight.
  20. Salad and spinach don't sit well with me.
  21. I do okay with peanut butter, but I go for the reduced fat kind.
  22. Well, good news is that the CAT Scan turned up nothing bad. Bad news is that I was prescribed two doses of milk of magnesia or Miralax tonight.
  23. I am having quite a few BMs today.
  24. Well, the pain hasn't gone away completely, so I do have a CT scan tomorrow for this. What sort of treatment is done for each of those options?
  25. I'm going to have a CT scan tomorrow, and it's about five months out now
