here's lou.......

Hey Jodie, I also have a pug. His name is Lou (as in Grant). We also had a younger pug named Baxter (as in Ted), but the poor thing died from respiratory failure at only 2 years old. I will try to attach my picture of Lou after he had a hard day-hopefully it works

Good Luck at your new J-O-B ! You will do great. Keep us posted and how it's going. Glad to hear you are doing ok. Your son will be just fine. Believe me, I am a MUCH better mother after I have had a break from my kids-including going to work. And you are right-you surprise yourself on how much you can do when you have to !!!

Bella, The same exact thing happened to me two weeks ago. I had my 6th fill, bringing me up to 2.8cc ina 4cc band. Well, beginning the night I had the last fill, I would wake up with vomit (sorry, I know, too descriptive) in my mouth. This went on all night as soon as I laid down. Well, the next night I took Maalox and prevacid before bed. Same thing, just less acid for the next two nights. Finally, after not sleeping four nights in a row, I went back to the doc and had .04 cc removed. I have been sleeping like a baby ever since. It sounds exactly like me-you are overfilled. Even though you can eat fine during the day, don't let that fool you !!! I should have listened to everyone's advice, but I guess I had to see for myself. GO get yourself some relief-get unfilled !

oh how sad. My prayers are with her son and her family...

Bella, Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for ALL of that? It seems pretty major. I would like to have done all that you have done, I just don't think it is feasable as far as money goes.

Hi there, I too suffer from migraines. The really bad ones, like you get. In fact, I was hospitalized in September because they were so bad. I throw up from time to time, but it doesn't bother my band. Just take it slow and see what your doc says. Don't cancel your surgery just yet ! You can make it work !!! By the way, did your doc prescribe a medication to prevent them, rather than treat the migraine? I take meds nightly, and my migraines have decreased. Good Luck

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I have no advice to give you on this matter other than to KEEP FIGHTING !!! It appears that alot of bandsters here have appealed an won. Let's hope that you are one of many who can beat the insurance company at their game ! Good Luck
