I have 2.6 ccs in a 4cc band. I was up to 2.8cc, but due to acid reflux at night, I had some removed. I feel much better and have great restriction with the amount I have. MY doc said she has very very few people over 3ccs. I think as we lose weight, our stomach loses its girth and things just "shift" allowing the band to loosen up, therefore less restriction. Hope this helps

Oh Cheri, I am sorry this happened to you. It reminds me of the time I was 2 months out of surgery, and my family goes out to eat at the Old Country Buffet. Well, I was looking across the table at my husband and kids eating fried chicken/fries and basically anything fried and all I could have was mashed potatoes and creamed spinach !!! I cried right then and there ! Believe, me it will get eaisier, and you will be able to eat almost anything, just in smaller portions. hang in there...

As of today, my BMI is 29.9 which puts me in the OVERWEIGHT category. I never thought I would be so happy to be overweight !!! I can only share this with you guys. I mean, who else would understand? Peace

I have three words for you- GET AN UNFILL ! I suffered from the same thing and was very aggessive about getting fills. On my last fill I was choking on my own vomit at night and living on sips of water. I agree, do not try to be a hero. In the long run, it could lead to serious complications. You need more than ice chips to live on. Even you only get a very small amount taken out, it will make a world of difference. An unfill is easier than sitting in an ER hooked up to an IV.
