I love my band, I love weighing 48 less pounds than I did April 1st, I love having self control........but boy do I miss chinese food !!!! I can't even touch the stuff without pbing .

I never heard of a 3cc band, only 4cc and 11cc. My doc says she never had anyone filled to 4cc. 3.3cc was the most she has ever filled anyone. I'm at 2.3 now and can't imagine getting anymore !

Thanks for your response. How was your mom's recovery??? How is she doing now? How is she doing for weight loss? I really want this to work for my dad. he deserves a few good more years.

Does anyone know someone who has had the band who are age 70 or older? I really think it would be a great solution for my dad, but he turns 70 in December. He has no other health conditions other then being about 150 pounds overweight. I would like to have him around for a few more years, and without some sort of weight loss surgery, I am afraid he will start showing effects of all this extra weight. I desparately want to weigh less than my husband !!!! I have lost 45 pounds since I was banded May 23rd, and I still weigh more than him ! <sigh>

My husband said when I die he is going to remove my band and sell it on Ebay. It was expensive.... He was kidding, of course. NO ONE touches my band !!!!
