Oh I can't do unflavored protein either!! Ugh the smell. Most canned shakes make me wanna barf only can do pure protein. I get so sick. So far ok on matrix and nectar. I've got the opposite issue constipation. It's so weird how we all react. I need more liquids.

I'm two weeks out from my second surgery and can sleep on my side and kind of on my stomach. Having a pill there helps.

Putting it into perspective
I alway look at a pound of butter. We all have said "I've only lost a pound". Look at that pound of butter. Pure fat! EW. Be happy it's gone.

Hi guys!! How's everyone doing? I'm ok but getting nauseated all the time now. Need to up my water intake. Averaging about 60 grams of protein do that's not too bad.

Oh yes!! Some even dump on sugar alcohols. It depends on your system how long it lasts. Be careful. :-)

Hurt
Mines on the upper right where my small incision is. It's in the muscle under the skin. I think it's where they went thru the stomach muscle. I reinjured it this week. It's really touchy.

scared to eat
Lisa, I know it's scary but you have to eat to heal!! You need protein for your body, energy and your hair. It's ok. You will start to lose after the first week once all the fluids and gas is out of your body. Hugs!!

What Is Your Ideal Size?
Imani, it's so sad. Ill be damaged for years. :-( but we will be ok. You seem like a strong woman. I feel sorry for all of us who have had to endure the abuse. Plus really starts at a 12w but regular clothes can go up to an 18. Weird!

Hi and welcome. Crstal nailed it. I was clear liquids first week and the. Protein shakes, soups (strained) and Greek yogurt. I'm about three weeks out now. Struggling a but with nausea but doing ok.

chicken noodle soup
I'm three week out and I'm just eating the broth and chicken pieces. I've snuck a noodle or two but won't eat them

Actually Chike protein has a really good iced coffee. Click protein is coffee too but I have not tried it yet.

Protein drink mix-ins
Though I would share what I have found to work. Please add what you may have found. DiVinci SF syrups Walmart Capella SF drops. capellaflavordrops.com tons of flavors!! PB2. Amazon or bellplantation.com. Powdered Peanut Butter. One gram of sugar, 5 grams of Protein and only 45 calories. No oil. It's all extracted from real peanuts Folgers decaf coffee crystals - great for mocha shakes Smuckers SF jellies (seedless). Good for yogurt too!

I can't stress eat, but I need something
Lisa, I'm so sorry. Take it day by day. I know its hard to focus right now but try to focus on your health and mental well being. Your grandmother would want it that way. Knitting or crocheting is a great way to focus. Walking does help a good deal as well. Prayers and hugs!
