  1. Moving in different directions carefully. Bringing knees up towards chest, bending over, etc. it hurts and you have to be careful but it moves the gas around and hopefully out.
  2. I've noticed if I don't eat a snack (I'm only 3 weeks out) I get really nauseated around noon and I'm ok once I eat. Some dr even recommend a few small meals as opposed to jus three main meals. Good luck.
  3. You can do strained soups and yogurt on full liquids. Not much else. Puréed is the next step. It's hard but hang in here!
  4. Check with your surgeon. I know I went thru a center of excellence and they work with the residents for plastic surgery. Of course watched by the masters. Just cheaper.
  5. Where is the pain? Stomach? I know (in three weeks as well) I get pain in my side and/or stomach if I eat too much to fast. You get kinda cocky. It reminds me to slow down.
  6. I was doing good for a while with fluids but now I'm struggling since I'm eating more food and less shakes.
  7. Hope all goes well!!
  8. Yes it is a long journey but each day gets better. I'm three weeks out and just getting the hang of it. Don't be scared. I never had a surgery before and I was ok. :-). Good luck
  9. Unjury chicken broth. 20 grams
  10. Anyone try papaya or ginger enzyme for nausea?
  11. Welcome! Glad to have you hear. :-)
  12. Tracie! Hi and welcome. I'm about three weeks out. It gets better each day! If you need anything this is a great place for questions and support. Tons of info as well!
  13. I live for bedtime. Lol. I've tried so hard not to nap since surgery so I'm ready for bed about 9.
  14. Yep. I twisted getting out of my jeep. Oh good grief it was awful when I reinjured it

  16. Don't worry about Aunt Flo. She shows up within a day or two of the surgery anyway. Good luck
  17. You both will be fine! It's a rough road but manageable. Good luck!!
  18. Ill have to give it a shot next week. Thanks
  19. Watch your urine. The darker the more water you need. It's hard to rehydrate. I'm in that mode today.
  20. Oh I'm dying for a cracker!! I bought these little water crackers today.
