Blood sugar dropping

I had my surgery on 10/10. My sugar is starting to drop around 3 or 4 pm. I start shaking, get light headed and start to feel like I'm about to pass out sometimes. I start getting really hot too. Am I doing something wrong? My doctors office told me I need to eat less at lunch and eat a snack about 3 pm. Do any of you guys have this?

I've noticed if I don't eat a snack (I'm only 3 weeks out) I get really nauseated around noon and I'm ok once I eat. Some dr even recommend a few small meals as opposed to jus three main meals. Good luck.

I have to have a snack. Today I had cantaloupe, honeydew melon and watermelon in very small amounts - chewed it very well an everything was fine. Without a snack I think that I get hypoglycemic.
