  1. Oh the fat girl in the room... That's me at work. I need therapy just for this alone.
  2. I forgot about the shoes! That will kill me. But I can by more!!! lol
  3. I have the same issue. I've been drinking lemon tea. Seems to help.
  4. My friend is two years out. She can eat a little pasta but not rice. It puffs up in her stomach.
  5. It helps you track all your food, water, exercise, etc. it has an awesome database. A lot of us are on there and support each other there as well.
  6. Ugh staples! I got lucky I'm glued and healing pretty well. However my internal staples hurt now and then. The pull and pinch!
  7. I had the same issue. I used a suppository. It worked. You will feel so much better once you go. Some dr recommend miralax as well.
  8. I can't eat eggs in a restaurant. Bacon fat makes me deadly sick and they cook they eggs on the same griddle. I've asked them not to but post surgery this terrifies me. It sucks.
  9. Oh I understand!!! I broke 250 a day ago. It's huge!! I'm happy for you!!!! :-)
  10. They are propaganda. Work with your dr.
  11. I agree. My first week was absolute hell. I wanted to reversed too. But I keep telling my self this is the short term and the long term is life will get 'normal' again. But it will never be where we were and that's a goo thing.
  12. I hear you! This is a hard long journey. Esp for us emotional eaters. Nikki is right. I know I am going to have to deal with this beast with a professional. I've lost weight in past only to have my emotions slaughter all of my work. Plus the weight loss release tons of hormones causing us to be even more emotional. Take it day by day. :-).
  13. Yea!!! I knew you could do it!! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!
  14. Wow great pics!! So many success stories!!
  15. Nivea is pretty good for firming and Palmers oil for stretch marks. It's made for pregnant bellies. :-). The firming creams only help a little but I noticed my skin was less wrinkly but still sagging. Sigh.
  16. I'm trying oatmeal tomorrow. I know this sounds dumb but if I can eat just a little I can go out to breakfast with my hubby. Even if it is only two bites. I miss that terribly.
  17. I hope the weight does drop off!! I think I am going to do shakes and yogurt during the day esp at work and then try the puréed foods at night. Last thing I need is to be miserable at work.
  18. Mine was the 19th and I've only lost about 13 pounds. But I'll take it!!
  19. The first week is the worst. After that everything starts to heal. The gas gets better the second week as well. As hard as it is the more I moved the better it was. It helped with the gas and some of the nausea. Good luck!!
  20. I won't watch any of the real ones just the animated. I was afraid I would freak out!
  21. Sounds like we are on the same diet! Sigh
  22. I tried cream of wheat and was ok. The oatmeal may have shocked your system with the fiber.
  23. I need to complain.. Why the hell do they move us to puréed foods when you can't eat them and drink enough shakes to get in 60-85 grams of protein a day. It's impossible when you have to wait 30 minutes after and before drinking. It's impossible. I guess I'll be on shakes for another month. I've tried to eat but you get to full and not enough protein. I'm just frustrated. :-(
