  1. Emiller. My RNY was the 19th and I had another surgery on Friday so I'm about a week out too. So far so good this past week. I'm just scared everyday.
  2. Yep same here. No face lotion needed.
  3. Yea!! So glad to hear you are doing ok. Yes, morphine is your friend. I prayed a lot last week. :-). Hope everything continues to go smooth!!
  4. Oh I just saw this thread!! Prayers!!
  5. Mine was the 19th and I'm in the same boat. I have to force myself to drink very slow. Had a little mild nausea today but that's it. I'm trying to figure out what full feels like. I'm scared I already stretched. :-(.
  6. Slow and steady!! You can do this. :-)
  7. Wow. Your stats are very close to mine. I was 298 last year and an inch taller. I'm almost in tears. There is hope. Thanks for sharing!!
  8. Wow nice job!!!!
  9. Wow never thought about that.... I was always thinking about my boobs. lol
  10. Ok another weird question. My hair has become really funky. It's really oily and my skin is not as dry. I'm ten days out. This is just weird.
  11. I had mine on the 19th and yes hot and cold are normal parts of the healing process. I was on Clear liquids for week after. I would stick to them for most of your diet. I am just now on liquids only. Puréed is next week. SF Popsicles were my life savor and broth. I know it sucks but may help. Heather
  12. Oh Vicki!! I'm so sorry. I am here for you. I really wish I could do something to help you but I will just pray. I know you know it is for the best but that does not offer much for your psyche now. Please hang in there. You will get there!! (((Hugs))).
  13. Only two more days and we are all on the losing side! Good luck today!!! Our thoughts are with you :-)
  14. It took me about two weeks for approval and I got the date that day which was about 3 1/2 weeks out.
  15. Anyone taking liquid Tylenol for pain yet? It looks sugary. I'm afraid of it.
  16. I'm doing pretty good. Had a twisted intestine and had another surgery on Friday.
  17. I'm seven out from my RNY surgery and I'm BS crazy right now. I cried most of yesterday. Hand in there. :-).
  18. Yes I know there are tons of dr but I would reach out to her.
  19. Yes we are family! I could not have done this without all of you!!!
  20. Sky: I'm on full liquids, strained cream soups, yogurt and soupy cream of wheat. I don't move to puréed foods until after my appointment next Tuesday.
  21. The only one I found was flinstones but my dr does not recommend them. I bought chewable iron from bariatric advantage to supplement the multi.
  22. Hilary: oh I know! I had over and hour. You poor dear. Hugs!! Kellyanne: they moved me to full liquids before purée. You are WAY ahead of me. Just chew chew chew. :-)
