My surgery date is the 4th and I was so happy to see your posts !! I was wondering how long you are in discomfort ! Any troubles getting your fluids in ? And any advice you wanna pass along ?

Emiller. My RNY was the 19th and I had another surgery on Friday so I'm about a week out too. So far so good this past week. I'm just scared everyday.

Had mine the 20th and am still quite sore, but I also had gallbladder out and hernia repair during the the same surgery so I'm guessing that's why....but it's getting better everyday.

I had some complications too and they definitely added to my fear. I was in the hospital the whole first week after I had my surgery on a Monday. When I came home on Sunday I was so nervous and fearful. That lasted about a week and then went away. Hang in there it definitely gets better. Next Wednesday will be my one month surgiversry and I feel GREAT now!
