  1. Rem all one bit of cake or bread is not the end of the world. That's being human. Part of this process is to learn to new habits. Our old habits were one or two pieces of cake and no exercise. If the bit help with a craving. It's ok as long as it is not a habit. Move on and don't beat yourself up. :-)
  2. I can report it really is not that bad. The pain is manageable and the catheter removal is a nonevent. Hang in there!!

  4. I use a pill cutter. I didn't get protein in until really Tuesday and my first surgery was last Monday.
  5. I had that it was air. I'm using syntax and matrix protein. So far so good.
  6. Spiking is an old diet trick. You add calories one day and go lighter the next. If you eat 600 calories a day, for example, your body gets used to it. Try 700 one day and 500 the next.

  10. I told my BF hubby and only once the surgery was scheduled my mom. No one else in my family knows. I did not even tell my boss. It can be done. :-).
  11. Try spiking your calories one day. It sometimes helps reset the metabolism. Kicks it out of starvation mode.

I bought the powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury but I can't get past the taste in yogurt, crystal light etc. I was going to cook with it but it only says up to 140 degrees. Anyone try another unflavored that you can actually cook with?? Any help appreciated! Thanks.

  19. Oh Falicia!! I'm the same way. I feel like a big crying lump. Yesterday was not too bad but i cried most of Wednesday. I also have a short temper And my hair and skin is all funky. Ugh but the scale is moving so we can get through this!!

  22. Simplysouthern: I hear you. I just wanted my mom and hubby. My dad passed last year so I'm feel you on that. No I don't think it's rude. Just explain you won't be there that long and you need the time to learn to drink and walk. They'll understand. Good luck!!
