I was allowed coffee at 1 week post-op, and have been having 1 to 2 cups a day for nearly 7 months. I agree with Newat52, why not ask your NUT--
  5. Honestly, I eat mostly meat. I am trying to eat fruit -- but I'm not eating a whole apple but a piece or 2 of an apple. I do eat veggies. I don't have any bread, Pasta or rice or potatoes.
  6. :) Yippee! For the first time in 13 years I am under 200lbs! I did a happy dance after I got off the scale this morning!
  7. Congrats! I just got under 200 this morning, it's the first time in 13 years for me!
  8. Congrats! I made this morning too!
  9. I am 7 months out and feel normal, so many restaurants have smaller portion menus now, Applebee's, Cheesecake Factory, etc. I just eat the Protein and veg (if I can) and I'm done. No one cares if I ask for a to go box... The only thing that is weird is not drinking and eating... that's still hard!
  10. Check with your doctor first.
  11. Congrats! You look great!
  12. Yikes, I'm sorry that you have been so sick. Maybe the killer antibiotics, could still be affecting your appetite. Sometimes that can effect how things smell,, taste and can definitely make you nauseous. Give it a little more time....
  13. LOL thanks for the giggle!
