I'll go first. I am pre-op but have 2 NSV's with my diet now 1. I can put my socks on without grunting 2. My engagement ring fits again! Your turn.... ????
May 6, 201313 yr I wore a dress today that I haven't been able to wear since a yr after I started my job....13 years ago!! :-)
May 6, 201313 yr Last Friday as we were riding in the car (I was in the front passenger seat, he was in the back behind hubby, who was driving), my 8 year old said to me, "Mommy, you're little!" I melted- love him! LOL
May 7, 201313 yr Yes, you can have an NSV before surgery. NSV stands for non scale victory, so it is anything you can celebrate that doesn't have to do with the numbers on the scale.
May 7, 201313 yr Can you have NSVs before surgery? Today I wore a size 14 pair of pants to work. They fit perfectly. I think they was running a little big but I take it. I wore 18W before surgery. Woohoo Sent from my iPad using VST
May 7, 201313 yr Today i was able to lift one leg across the opposite thigh to tie my tennis shoe lace while standing without losing my balance,Yeah!
May 7, 201313 yr I can sit cross cross apple sauce (Indian style) during story time again. When I was heavier it made my hip sit in the joint crooked and now it doesn't.
May 7, 201313 yr The seat belt doesn't strangle me and cut off blood circulation when I wear it anymore! I can comfortably fit on the back of my husbands motorcycle!

May 8, 201313 yr I am 14 werks post op started at 322 I am as pf today 251 down 73 pounds and my biggest nsv is wearing old navy clothes. I have never boughten anything from there bc I was tooo fat. Now I am a xl shirt and 20 pant ( loose now )
