  1. Awesome! Congrats on making it to One-derland!
  2. Woo Hoo! Congrats on making it to One-derland!! I'm so close 2 lbs to go~
  3. Good Luck! I know this sleeve was a lifesaver / life changer for me. I truly hope everything works out for you~ Fingers crossed!
  4. Congrats you look great and so much younger!
  5. What about borrowing from your 401K? I've seen many people on this site mention that they were able to borrow for medical purposes.
  6. I'm not sure "protein pills" are the best choice, I would check with your surgeon or nutritionist first. Good Luck!
  7. You have 3 days, you can't go back in time, just do your best until your surgery day.
  8. I too had lost over 100 lbs on Weight Watcher, and gained it back, I then lost over 100lbs with a personal trainer and diet but again I gained it all back. I never had an issue with losing, it was maintaining the weight loss that had me stumped! With the sleeve, I don't have the constant hunger and the constant thoughts of food. I now have an "Off Switch" that I never had. I eat mostly Protein and I avoid carbs for now (at least until I reach my goal, plus they are my downfall). Yes, I do have to fight head hunger but, I can now have portion control and no longer suffer with constant hunger. The sleeve works, when you work with it! Good Luck, remember this is for you ~ not your husband.
  9. Yeah, that's just averages... I am 6 months out and have already passed 60%. It's more about what you do after surgery, don't be discouraged it can be done and is done just look at all the before and after pictures on this website! Good Luck!
  10. It's all Fluid from the IV's from surgery. Your body has just been thru a major surgery, it just needs time. Keep drinking Water and Protein, it will ok. Good Luck!
  11. Wow you look great and so much younger!
  12. The grumbling is NOT HUNGER!! It's acid, call your surgeon and ask about taking an acid reducer... The first few months my stomach was grumble, rumble and make some seriously crazy noises, its all par for the course.
  13. OMG I'll be shouting it from the rooftops!
  14. I think Macy6 has the questions covered... I would like to add, make sure you like her/his attitude, is he/she warm, friendly, caring? I can't deal with doctors that are all business. I want to feel that this doctor actually cares about me not just the MONEY!!
  15. I would call your surgeon as soon as possible...
  16. Woo Hoo! Congrats! I have 4 more pounds before I hit onederland, I just can't wait!!
