Saturday Nsv
Thanks guys! I think I'm gonna try the dress on when I get home and see how it fits - with just a little over a month until the wedding I'm sure it'll be too big by then!

Saturday Nsv
I put on my size 18 capris this morning... Waaayyyy too loose! I put on my size 16s, perfect fit! And my dress for my BFF's wedding came yesterday. I optimistically bought a size 16 thinking I'd have time to shrink - now I think I'll have to take it back and get a smaller size!

Almost 3 Months Out--No Bra Size Change? Is That Weird?
Havw you tried a smaller bra just for giggles? I *thought* mine hadn't changed, until I pulled out my box of pre pregnancy clothes and tried on one of the bras - it offered a lot more support and it makes the girls look great! They're swimming in my pre-op bras now.

Is It Normal...?
I had something similar about the same time. The PA said it was because that had to pull really hard and apply pressure to pull out the part of the stomach that they removed.

Today Is The Big Day!
So excited for you! Praying all goes well and your recovery is a speedy one

Need Help
Try a SF popsicle - if that doesn't stay down I'd limit my intake for a day or two. Everybody's sleeve is different and tolerates things differently.

Need Help
A lot of people experience water nausea post op. Have you tried warm broth or something other than water?

Dizzy
I was on a keto-diet with 30-40g of carbs per day. One symptom or side effect of ketosis is vertigo or dizziness, but just like with any medication, not everyone will experience all symptoms. I agree that OP may be having BP issues they may want to have checked.

Dizzy
What's your normal daily carb intake? There's a strong possibility that you're ketotic. I had the same issue last year and couldn't figure it out for the life of me - I even went to the Dr. The first question he asked me was how many carbs I was getting a day.
-
Heartburn
I had that issue as well - my surgeon had me on pepcid but I switched myself to Zantac 425's OTC and took one right before bed. No more heartburn!

Got My Protein In!
Thank you

Got My Protein In!
That's my grandmother. She passed away Tuesday so I changed my pic in her memory.
-
Got My Protein In!
It wasn't all at once - I've been working on it for an hour and a half - basically from about 1:30-3:00. I was basically taking a bite or two every 15mins or so.

2 Week + Post Op Food Tolerance
Based on the knowledge that everyone's experience is different and everyone's sleeve tolerates things differently, I'd say it's totally normal. I for one am jealous that it's going so well for you - there are many of us who are still having trouble even months out!

Got My Protein In!
Holy freaking crap! I got all my protein in and lemme tell you and am soooo freaking full! It took me an hour and a half to eat the 8oz of chicken that it took to get my protein in, but I did it! Two hard boiled eggs for breakfast and 8oz of chicken for lunch and I really have no desire to eat ANYTHING for dinner... I have lived on chicken and fish for 15 years (I don't eat red meat or pork) but after today if I never eat another piece of chicken it'll be too soon.

It's Thursday Thinker Time!
And here you are... We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is that discipline weighs ounces and lasts a moment while regret weighs tons and lasts a lifetime! - Jim Rohn

Speaking Of Protein...
I need 8 more oz of protein for the day and so far I've only been able to eat 3... I don't think I'm gonna make it and my surgeon was adament today about making sure I get my fluids and proteins in... Grrr!

Question For The Guru Sleevers!
I'm one of the worst about protein shakes - I don't use them at all, but I was told by my Dr today that I'm not getting my protein in so now I HAVE to have at least 1 a day, with milk since I don't do that either...

Healthy Snacks At 2-3 Months Out
I just had a single graham cracker sheet with a tbsp of reduced fat PB. I also eat fruit, or grab a slice of sandwich meat, or some baby carrots/raw broccoli with ranch dip, a yogurt, applesauce, basically whatevers handy that doesn't scream "you may as well just rub me on your thighs cause I'm headed straight there anyway" when i look at it

3 Month Post Op Visit
I'm doing OK - Still having some issues eating and have to take a zofran about 30mins before I eat. Not always, but frequently. Also having issues getting my fluids in but I've only hit 80oz once since surgery, and 30 of those 80oz were wine. LOL! My weight loss has slowed to about 2-3lbs per week, which is actually OK by me since it will help to minimize skin issues. Other than those few things its been a great experience!

It's that time again where you get to b!tch, gripe or moan about whatever's eating you without fear of judgement or reproach, so let's hear it! Alright alright, so we may secretly judge you, but we don't even know what reproach means so you're safe there Gripe away!
