Constantly Eating!
I feel like I'm constantly eating trying to get my calories and Protein in, and yet I'm consistently below my calorie goal every day. Some days I still don't hit my protein goal, although it has gotten easier to get it in, its kind of a pain. I'm dreading the day my Dr tells me to up my calories Anybody else feel this way?

Midol?
It figures that two days after I post about not getting TOM because of my birth control, mother nature decides to assert herself as if to say "oh yeah? Watch this!". This is my second cycle in a year and by George it sucks! Is Midol an NSAID? I'm trying to figure out what I can take for these monsterous cramps!

Hurts To Move.
I would say yes, but i slept through most of that day and I was heavily medicated while I was awake so I don't really know... It stands to reason I was though...

Getting My Hair Cut Today... Which One Should I Get?
The hair loss is in full force and my once beautiful long hair is thinning out, so today I'm off to get my hair cut... The only problem is I can't decide what cut to get, so I'm coming to you guys and gals for thoughts and opinions. So the first is a recent-ish pic of me for face shape reference, and then some links to a few different styles I'm considering. What do you think? Extreme Caffiene
Lemonade with caffeine? Was it an AMP slurpee? Caffeine promotes hunger and causes dehydration. You can have it but most Drs recommend avoiding it for at least 30days post op and then only in moderation.

Congratulations you look fantastic!

Protein?
Interesting... I've never heard of a surgeon putting food over protein and fluids. How far out are you and what are you considering "slow weight loss"?

Just Wondering
I'd be concerned at 3 weeks out that what you're feeling is probably not actually hunger and is more likely either head hunger or reflux. Have you tried taking an antacid?

Foam In Your Throat And Stomach - 3 Weeks Post-Op
Check the "Frequently Asked Questions" post that's pinned up top. They're called foamies/slimes and they happen when you eat a bit too much or something gets stuck. It's your bodies way of trying to digest and dislodge the object.

Dumping...
Sucks! In a moment of weakness I had a Swiss cake roll... I was never big on sweets or junk food pre-op, my issue was portion control. I didn't think it would be a big deal - guess that's what I get for thinking...

Dental Issues ?
I'd definitely get a 2nd opinion. The dosage of anesthesia isn't calculated or effected by the size of your stomach, it's calculated by your height and weight. And why would you need to be cleared for anesthesia anyway, don't they use novacane to do fillings like most dentists? I'm so confused...

Tmi? - Ladies - Anyone Else Have Period Problems Post-Op?
Ok, so I did a little digging to try and find a definitive answer and this is the closest I've come. Not a bad answer http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/ate/womenshealth/207086.html

Im Such And Idiot!
*typed as I sip my starbucks... Through a straw* I *think* the main reason they say no straws is because typically we use straws when drinking sodas and milkshakes and alcohol and.. and... you get the point. Sure there's a chance that it could cause you to take in extra air, but the amount would be so miniscule that it likely wouldn't bother you too terribly much. I think it's more just the fact that straws are associated with stuff on the no no list.

Tmi? - Ladies - Anyone Else Have Period Problems Post-Op?
Definitely keep taking it - it causes more problems if you're taking it and then suddenly stop, and then start again, than it does to just continue taking it. Plus it will regulate your period, but right now as I said your body is adjusting to a MAJOR trauma... Also, if you're married or in a relationship and plan on having sex with your hubby./partner, you definitely need it. We are WAY more fertile post-op just in case you weren't aware.

Tmi? - Ladies - Anyone Else Have Period Problems Post-Op?
Totally normal. I have an Implanon implant in my arm and haven't gotten a period since I got it last March... EXCEPT for when I got sleeved.. I bled for two weeks straight - heavy too. Your body just went through a major trauma so its understandable things would get a bit out of whack.

Esophagus Pain
A stricture is what happens when scar tissue builds up in your esophagus (sometimes caused by reflux) that causes your esophagus to narrow and makes swallowing difficult.

It sounds like it could be a stricture to me

How Do You Priorities?
No flames here! I 100% agree! Work on getting the nutrition right, getting your Protein and fluids in, and then worry about exercise later. Maybe you and your boyfriend can exercise together? I know many relationships that were saved when the couples started getting physically healthy together, because once they started getting physically healthy, everything else fell into place. Good luck!
