Heartburn

I am 3,5 weeks out & the last few mornings I have woke up with terrible heartburn. I don't feel it in my throat or anything but I have this burning in my chest. I take nexium every morning already. One morning I took a Tums & it helped somewhat, but I hate waking up with that feeling. Has anyone else experienced this, if so, what did you do? Thank you!

Hi,I am on 40mg nexium and I always had an issue in the morning until I started breaking the 40mg into 2 and drinking half in the evening and half in the morning.

Hope you can manage this soon.

I had that issue as well - my surgeon had me on pepcid but I switched myself to Zantac 425's OTC and took one right before bed. No more heartburn!
