  1. What a difference!!!!!!!!!!!! You look great and must feel even better.
  2. I have the problem of eating something and think I won't eat this for a very long time and my favorite chocolate anything will be gone. But I hope the craving will go away after surgery. I am 1 month ahead of you time wise and I haven't yet mastered all the NUt has said but to be fair I have changed some. I no longer have carbonation, I haven't ate a sleeve of anthing at all (chips, cookies etc) My husband brought home a homemade blackberry clobbler the night before and I had none and it is still on the counter. On the way home from an outing last night I said I was hungry and was but drank water and went to bed. This is all improvements for me. I am more aware of what I put in my mouth than before. So count the little things you are doing and you will be surprised how you are changing.
  3. If I looked as good as the fat me on that site I would be satisfied. The thin me is really great. They forgot to layer all of our rolls on our stomachs and legs. Should have been a roll button
  4. Did you talke to your Gyno or PCP about this? That would be the first step.
  5. We spoke about a lot of things for 1 hour. Then I took a test that took another hour. Dumb yes and no questions. You will do just fine. And I also cried at times during the talk because I tend to be depressed. It did't have me fail. Don't worry please of cake LOL. Doesn't really serve cake .
  6. Mine sews over the staples and has never had a leak.
  7. You look FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Best of luck to you and from all the posts I've read this to will pass.

  10. You must be so proud of yourself and you should be. Keep up the good work and soon you will see the skinny you in the mirror.
  11. Does everyone have heartburn after the sleeve surgery even if you didn't have it before?
  12. I am pre-op so I don't know first hand what you are going through. But if the pain is that bad why are you not on meds to help with that till the worst is over. Please call you surgeon and get some pain medications to help you and we will see you a lot better real soon on the losers track. Hang in there.
  13. Happy birthday to you. I can't wait until the sugar and chocolate cloud leave my life. I hope it works like that for me also.
  14. Many prayers being sent for your mother-in-law, God takes us only when he wants us.
  15. I would try and go with a batiatric center of excellence. At least they have all the things that are necessary set up in their program. But you still have to do research on the surgeons. Just because they are in the right place does not mean they have the experience. I attended 5 seminars and finally found a surgeon with experience with the sleeve surgery at a center of excellence. Do your reseach!!!!!!!!!

  17. Good for you. You are young, beautiful, and starting a new life. The Fros 15 won't affect you (haha). Enjoy every minute, it goes by so quickly.
  18. Sorry you are feeling so bad. You wil be in my prayers.
  19. Best of luck and prayers are coming your way.
  20. That is what this site is all about. To laugh, to cry, to vent, to complain, to be happy, to be sad. Someone is listening to you no matter what. It helps to know we have a place to do this. Try to figure it out and do the best you can. We are all here for you.
  21. I have BCBS fed and it takes 90 days which is 3 nutritionist visits. Then the Dr can apply to the insurance. I'm hearing that BCBS is different in many states. First of all find a Dr in your area and go to a meeting. They will answer a lot of your questions there. Find a Dr that is experienced in sleeve surgery. If you must go to more than one meeting at different Dr's. This way you hear different opinions about the procedures. Most of your major hospitals have a bariatric practice and this is where you find the meetings and the drs. Best of luck and let us know how it went.
  22. Congrats to both and mbasile making the impossible, possible by quiting eating and smoking at the same time.

  25. I have BCBS Federal also. I was told a 90 day NUT and had to have a pre- cert. I live in Ohio if that makes a difference. Have 2 more months till we apply.
