  1. Late as well. Had my first fill yesterday. Weighing in at 207 and still hoping to meet my goal for july
  2. I know this is a shot in the dark but am wondering if there is anyone else here who has also had ostomy surgery. I was only able to have lap band surgery since I have already had my colon removed due to Crohns disease. It has made my pre and post op course a little challenging. I really struggled with the liquid diet since it did not agree with me and have trouble getting enough liquids in around meals. Would love to know if there is anyone else out there that has either dealt with this or is dealing with it. So far so good right now! Thanks, Linda
  3. I am just south of you near Ithaca. Had my surgery on June 5th at Cayuga Medical Center. Glad to be a support buddy.
  4. I've had two procedures... tummy tuck with almost no noticeable scars and a breast lift with some scar issues that I am still resolving two years later. No regrets at this point... had 3 1/2 pounds of skin removed with tummy tuck.
  5. Forgot to log in since I am traveling. July 1 209 July 8. 207.6. Down 1.4 pounds. Get my first fill on Monday
  6. Sounds yummy. Thanks for the idea. I am just getting started in my new eating habits.
  7. Love DD coffee and treat myself several times a week. I use Stevia since I like it sweetened. I also put in flavoring as a treat. I use the drive thru since I don't have to even look at the donuts. Keep up the good work and we CAN do it!!
  8. I lost 100 pounds with TOPS ( Take off pounds sensibly). With the support of our group leader who is an MD I was banded after regaining some of my weight. He knows about the surgery but no one else does. I will stay with the group for the accountability and support. Shame on the WW leaders for putting down WLS maybe they don't really understand it
  9. It is do very hard and we have all been there and always have to battle. I was addicted to cherry flavored red licorice. I could knock down 2-3 pounds a week. Finally had hypnosis which worked but then got hooked on Diet Pepsi wild Cherry. I could drink a 2 liter bottle a day without an effort. Post band on June 5 I went cold turkey and am working hard not to pick up another addiction. It is hard but right now I want to get healthy more than I want to eat. So hang in there

  12. I was back in the pool at 2 weeks post op. Am now three weeks and am swimming almost every day. Everything healed up well and the water feels great.
