  4. Of course he wants you to consider the sleeve. More money for him and he doesn't have to deal with you after the immediate postop period you need a better surgeon. There are great ones out there
  5. OK. Me too. I indulged a bit last night. We gave out Twix which are not my favorite but they are chocolate. I also had some gummy bears and a taste of a brownie. Now it's off my chest on my scale and I am headed to a big workout tonight after work. My band has been tight for days and last night it decided to open up. Oh well??!!
  6. Down one pound. Wish it was more but will take it
  7. I wish it would leave my thighs!!
  8. I was banded June 5. I have either lost or maintained since the surgery. I hit my first goal of 42 pound down late last week. Then I gained 3 pounds and am still up 2 1/2 pounds. I am eating about 1000 calories a day , exercising at least an hour everyday and getting enough protein. I hate to say it but for the first time I am discouraged. Don't really know what to do next. I get my second fill possibly on Monday
  9. 202.3. Had wanted to be below 200 but it is 123 pounds gone for me from the start 6 yearsago
  10. I am right there with you. My first goal was to weigh less than my husband. He was sick this summer and lost 28 pounds. Now I am chasing him But my next goal is to break 200 and like you I am close at 203. So keep it up and down we go!!
  11. How do you all take the biotin? It is a capsule so not sure how to get it in?
  12. Somber a When I was 325 being able to exercise was a dream of mine. I was encouraged by some friends of mine to get on the pool. I hated anyone seeing me in a bathing suit but the Water hides a lot!! So now at 200 pounds I can't wait to get to a class. I just bought a new tight fitting set of yoga pants to work out in. I think you have a great goal and know you will get there

  18. I have had two stuck episodes. I wasnt expecting it since I have only had one fill of 1.5 cc. But it was awful on chicken and turkey
  19. I was banded June 5 th and down 39 pounds so far. Since I started my weight loss journey I am down 123 altogether I lost weight through TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) but put 40 pounds back off. I am loving now being able to get back into old clothes. I think I kept too many pairs of pants since my closet is full!
  20. Late entry. 7/22. Weight. 205
  21. I am 58 and have been fighting weight gains since age15. I have tried many different diets, WW,Nutrisystem, hypnosis as well as accupuncture. 6 years ago with the help of TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) and my local YMCA I took off and kept off over 100 pounds. My BP and blood sugar returned to normal and I had so much more energy. Then my Mom died 3 years ago and 40 pounds crept back on. My usual weight loss strategies didn't work despite my best efforts. So last December I went to a WL seminar. Because of other surgeries I have already had the band was my only option. I decided to start the process and the fight with my insurance company I barely qualified based on my BMI and they wanted me to lose 10 percent which would have put me below the required BMI. So with the help of letters from 5 different doctors I was approved and was banded June 5th. It wasa great decision for me and I feel I am back in control. I really like it giving up body parts that can't be returned. I already live without a colon so know what that process is about.......no turning back
  22. Thanks for the ideas. I did rock back and forth and tried some Water. Would have preferred something hot but the maid had taken the coffee carafe away I guess fresh raw apples are out for me . I will have to be more careful when I travel next time
  23. Last night I had two foods get stuck and I experienced the pain and panic all at once . I was in a hotel room out of state with limited options to help me. But now I know that chicken breast and apples are problems for me. I washable to finally get things to settle down with some papaya enzyme but it was a short night
