  1. Has your doctor gave you any meds for nausea?? Also my surgeon told me that nausea is a symptom of dehydration. So try to sip your way through 64 ounces of fluid, that should help. Hope you feel better soon.
  2. I also have pcos, and I was specifically instructed to continue with my birth control pills, as it is much easier to get pregnant once we start loosing weight. I also feel like the birth control also keeps my hormones in check, which I need, it also curbs all the facial hair.
  3. Yes I did, I also bleed a lot I'm assuming not only because of surgery, but they usually give you blood thinners. My last 2 periods were not normal flow.
  4. Way to go...keep up the good work.
  5. What you are feeling is totally normal. But trust me when I say seeing is believing. It will happen, the day will come when you will just be another girl, and not the fat girl. Your going be in denial for a while, because the weight can't come off fast enough.
  6. To track calories I would try my fitness pal.
  7. Hope you feel better. If it is something you ate it the symptoms should be gone soon. I know this may not seem appealing, but once you can tolerate it, you should try to eat what you would consider one of your safe foods. If you get no symptoms know that it was more than likely what ever you ate. However If the pain does not go away soon, or if you get pains after safe foods then you should contact your surgeon immediately.
  8. Awesome..it looks like you lost 20 years along with those 70 pounds. Keep up the good work.
  9. Awesome..keep up the good work.
  10. Welcome!!! Glad all is going well.
  11. Good job. Keep up the good work.
  12. Congrats. Remember it really does get easier/better everyday.
  13. My dietician told me I could eat spicy foods as soon as I could tolerate it, I'm 6 weeks out and have been eating spicy for about 2 weeks now, with no problems. I have tried fried foods, but very limited, such as I had 2 chicken wings. I just make it a point not to have to much. I had that about the same time as spicy food. But I was also discharged on mushies, I did that for 2 weeks. After that I've been on soft foods. After next week I will be on no restriction diet.
  14. As far as getting you protein in have you tried isopure drinks, they're not milk or dairy based. I was drinking the blue one and I watered it down with a bunch of ice. Hope this helps. As far as non dairy snacks during mushie stage try beans, eggs, soups, and sf popsicles.
  15. It's prob just a fluctuation because of the time of the month. It happens to me all the time. Don't stress in a few days the scale will go back down. Your doing a great job don't get discouraged.
  16. Great job. I was also the designated driver this weekend, it was nice. I didn't need to drink, I was high on life.
  17. Yup, I'm 6 weeks out and shrimp is my go to, it's an awesome great of protein.
  18. Welcome. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
