Envisioning A Certain Nsv
I fell you on this one... I now can't wait to buy a new coat and winter boots. I've always wanted to invest in really good quality coat and boots. Because of my plus size I was always limited on what I can buy, let's say the options were not appeasing to the eye.

So Has Anyone Else Had To Do The Lovonox Injections
My doctor makes all his patients do 2 weeks of Lovonox Injections to prevent blood clots. Urghhh... I just want to say how much I hate them. 2x a day. I hate it, can't wait until I can be done with that. On the bright side I guess its a small price to pay for a new lease on life.

Preparing For Surgery
@ ChicagoChic sorry for the delayed response. I actually had to get on my computer to see how to access the Chicago group. First of all I was unable to locate it through the app. So on the top of the web site there are tabs, forums, blogs, photos, ect. You have to click the groups tab and then look for the Chicago group. Hope this helps

Do You Ever Feel Like Telling Fat People To Get Surgery?
It's funny because I have a cousin who is over weight and she wants the surgery, but I guess she is having anxiety about starting the process. So I just don't push it, I did tell her about my experience but I will not push her anymore. It's funny because my endocrinologist who was treating me for pcos, just came out and flat told me you should have weight loss surgery. It was at that point that I was like yeah I should. From there I started my process.

First Poop?
It took me 6 days. I guess because I wasn't really eating much there was really nothing in my stomach to poop. Once I was able to tolerate more mushies I went.

What's Your Favorite Work Out?
I'm just over one week post op, but pre sleeve my favorite exercise has been circuit training. I'm not talking about curves circuit training. I used to take a circuit training class at my gym, and let me tell you that is a full body work out. And you get the best of cardio and strength training. It can be very challenging at first but it is so rewarding. I used to leave soaked in sweat.

8 Days Post-Op...incision Question
Ok, thanks guys. You have really calmed my nerves.

8 Days Post-Op...incision Question
Hello, I have a question. I have four incisions from my sleeve. However the biggest incision is more painful and soar. The other three small incisions are fine and pain free. The larger incision is not healing as fast, I was just wondering if everyone else has any comments on this. I'm not sure if it's not healing because it is just a larger incision, or if there is a chance it maybe infected. The only reason I'm kind of worried is because I had school on Monday and I had to carry my bookbag around and it weighs about 20 pounds. Big mistake, trust me I won't be doing that again.

Relationship With Hubby..better Or Worse After Sleeve Results?
I am only a week out, but seeing how supportive my husband is, just makes me love him so much more. So as far as being insecure he is not there and I make sure to express my love and appreciation on a regular basis. So I hope he will not get those feelings.

College Students
I am 6 days post op and work full time and am currently taking 11 credit hours. I was able to get a month off work. School is fine the only bad part is carrying my books around as I commute and they are somewhat heavy considering I should only carry 5 pounds.

My nut stated that our bodies mistakes thirst for hunger a lot. So try drinking before you eat and see if that works.

A Sushi Nightmare,lesson Learned :(
I am only a few days post op, but when I was pre-op I loved sushi. I have ordered my sushi with no carbs aka no rice. If there is a chef in back making the sushi fresh to order it should not be a big deal. The local whole foods market on my area has a sushi bar that makes them all the time.

Dumping Syndrome
My nut has said to never try more than one new food a day, so if u have a bad reaction it is pretty easy to tell what have you the reaction.

3 Days Post Op
So I'm 3 days post op. I have no desire to eat, I drink water because I get super thirty. I have a ton of meds that I have to take. I crush the pills and I put them in my 2oz of yogurt that i can barely eat. So I able to get up and walk around. But I really do get tired. Is this normal and how long is this gonna last.
