  1. I have been so discouraged that I stopped calorie counting 3 weeks ago
  2. 8 weeks post op 17 lb loss, 11 during pre-op diet .. Total weight loss since surgery 6 lbs.... Guess I have a lot to be happy about
  3. @wheetsin What did the doc say about your stall? I wanna know if this is normal or should I just go with the idea that the sleeve isn't gonna work for me.
  4. Down 17 lbs since march 27th lost 11 lbs on the pre-op diet..so 6 lbs post op.. I'd seriously like a refund????
  5. 5 weeks post op and haven't lost any weight since my pre-op diet.. I guess the doc was serious when he said some people will lose and some people won't.. Damn I coulda had a v8 along with the $8000 it cost me...(not satisfied)
  6. Down 70 lbs in 6.5 months is wonderful
  7. Thanks your replies ladies.. I guess part of my problem is wanting instant gratification. Have any of you started working out.. I just started taking zumba classes
  8. Feedyoureye I'm trying to stay positive about things.. Thanks for the advice
  9. I was sleeved on March 27th and to date I'm not convinced that this surgery was worth the money or trouble.. I can't eat anything and what I do eat I don't enjoy. Worst of all I haven't lost any significant amount of weight.. I know I had a low BMi to start with but hell I could have lost the few pounds I've lost without all the trouble .. Starting weight 217 Pre-op 204 To date 199 As you can see the pounds lost were do from the pre- op diet. I'm not expecting to wake up in the morning and be skinny but I was expecting something different .. Ugh
  10. There were at 4 English channels when I was there.
  11. I enjoyed the Marriott immensely the staff was super great snd super friendly.. I enjoyed every minute of it. And I agree the beds were heaven.. So was the broth and ice pops.. Lol
  12. Thanks ladies, I will start working out this week and see if gives the metabolism a boost.. Good luck to all of us
  13.    MSMONIK reacted to a post in a topic: Not Loosing/ Or High Expectations
  14. That sounds reasonable and makes a whole lot of sense. I think I may have been overwhelmed by some of the post that i see here in the message boards
  15. I was sleeved on march 27, 2012 My preop weight was 217, my weight on the day of surgery/ after preop diet was 204. After surgery I was back up to 211 (gas, fluids, bloating) as of tomorrow I'll be 3 weeks post op and my current weight is 199. Am I not losing or could it me that expectations are unrealistic. I'm starting to wonder if it was worth it after all.... Any one else not losing or with the same experience ????
