This is true. I just thought that was the perfect one for someone having surgery in Mexcio!

Hi everyone! I am so glad that you guys joined me in the thread. I am excited and nervous about my surgery... but mostly excited. The surgeon I am seeing only requires a three day liquid diet, but today I bought some Protein shakes and am going to start cutting way back on Monday so I am prepared for next Sunday when everything pretty much stops.

I also bought some lovely (eye roll) nightgowns at WalMart today for wearing at the hospital. You know, the fun kind your grandma used to wear that are like housecoats that snap up the front. I figure that will be the easiest as i won't have to deal with putting them on over my head.

Well anyway, I am looking forward to getting to know you all better as we start off on this journey at basically the same time. Great things are ahead!

Hi kbs1010. My surgery is march 9th. Next Friday. I too am looking for a friend to share with. Please let me know how you are feeling about all this. My surgery is at fort Lewis madigan Army Hopital in Washington state. They have tons of experience with this surgery so I pray I don't end up with complications. Never had surgerys or baby's so I don't know what to equate tis to. Good luck and if you like, I'll keep you posted.

It was meant to be. Where are you having your surgery? I actually live in Spokane. In order for my insurance to cover the sleeve, I have to have my surgery ar a military hospital. I'm still so excited to have someone so close.

My surgery is on March 15th. I fly down to San Diego a week from Wednesday...I agree, it is nice to have someone in the same state.
