Wondering If I Am Weird?!

I am 8 days post op and feeling pretty good! The first few days were perfect...no pain, no gurgles, able to get most of my protein and all my liquids down. Basically, this is still the case, and I am very thankful, but I also wonder why I am not having any of the complications I read about?! if it weren't for the incisions, I would wonder if anything were done to me!!! Of course, the lack of hunger is a good clue, too!

  • Weird is like crazy. If you're wondering if you ARE, you're probably NOT. That's not always true, but you know what I mean. I had very little post-operative discomfort...and I'm VERY thankful for that

ROFL. Best case post op scenario and you are confused. You are cracking me up :)

Consider yourself really lucky. I am at post op day 5 and I get the gurgles all the time. Today is the first time that I was able to get in any protein.

I think I may be worried about successful weight loss! Yes, I amuse myself, too!

I am the same way! I am 3 weeks out and still waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have had none of the issues I hear others talking about. I hope it continues:)

That's it! Waiting for the other shoe to drop! I will continue to be thankful and try to be careful about not pushing my sleeve limitations too hard. What I love about this website is the ability to speak on anything and everything without ridicule.

You guys aren't weird, you're lucky!
