  1. That's great to hear. Congrats.
  2. Congrats. I hope your wife is ok with you choices sooner rather than later.
  3. That's pretty cool. Congrats on the weight loss
  4. I also felt the need to always hold my stomach when I just has my procedure. I felt better immediately after I stopped taking pain meds, they made me to loopy and grogy. Once I stopped taking them I was able to focus on task like walking. The walking did really seem to help. I'm sorry your feeling this way and I hope you feel better soon.
  5. Wow I have no idea, however I do wish you the best and hope you feel better really soon.
  6. I'm praying and hoping that you feel better soon.
  7. Yes, that's pretty similar to the diet that I had pre-op. it did help me loose, and as you may think your starving, trust me it would be aot harder if you were on a liquid only diet.
  8. I think they say that because of the fear of transfer of addictions. Alcohol is very high in calories, so you can drnk but just tread lightly.
  9. Yes, I was. I hated every second of it.
  10. Well yesterday I tried on my non plus size pants and they fit, granted I had a massive muffin top, but hey I got them on and zipped, I say 15 more pounds and I should be able to wear them. So to clarify now I'm wearing size 18's from lane Bryant and Ashley Stewart, and I'm trying to get into my size 18's from NY and Co, Anne Taylor, and Old Navy. I am down 50 #'s and still wearing the same size. Damn I never realized how ill fitting (small) clothes were. It feels cool for clothes to actually be too big
  11. Diane NY... You are awesome...
  12. Some doctors are just @ssholes, and your doctor seems like one of them.
  13. The reason your doctor has 2 separate tax id numbers is because he doesn't want to contract with your insurance. The benefit of your doctor being out of network is that the surgeon does not have to accept aetna's rates. So Aetna will have to pay the surgeons fee and thus your insurance passes the expense to you. My suggestion check if there are any other contracted providers who could perform the procedure in your area.
  14. Trust me this is usually the hardest part of the process. Once you get through this it will be much easier.
  15. Yes, I agree with those who've posted above, your weight loss is awesome. Let's not forget we didn't gain all the weight over night, our bodies are doing the best they can to shed the weight healthy. A pound loss is a pound loss. You should celebrate and rejoice every single pound that goes, because it's gone for good. Best of luck and hope you feel better.
  16. Glad to see you are feeling better. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
  17. Awsome and so true. Thanks for the reminder.
