  1. Ok, my husband works outside walking, so in the summer he gets some serious shaffing. First under armour sells boxer brief underwear made out of some really tight smooth material. They're pricey, but they may just be worth buying a pair or two for those days you wanna wear your size 34's. For the rash my husbands go solution is to put athlete's foot cream, according to the hubs you put it on after a shower the just take it easy, by the next morning most of the soarnesd should be gone. Of corse considering just becareful .
  2. So you know how sometimes the weight can't come off fast enough, and we tend to convince ourselves that 1,2 or 3 pounds a week isn't enought. Well today I went for a 10 mile bike ride, and let me tell you, I felt the difference. I'm down 50# from my highest weight, but wow the difference in my stamina and endurance is amazing. I just had to throw it out there get physical and if your mind won't let you see your physical changes your body sure does let you feel them. I love my sleeve.
  3. Congrats to both of you. I was discharged on mushies. Every surgeon has different diets.
  4. Haha... I also had a super cute doctor. Blushing.
  5. Yes, totally. I am 7 weeks out and just this week I started to feel like I didnt need a nap after work. Now I have soo much energy I don't know what to do.
  6. Yippie... Keep up the good work.
  7. Welcome. Best o wishes.
  8. Whoo way to go. By he cutest part of the story is the whole husband part. Congrats.
  9. I've worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I can tell you that some do tors are either really for or against wls. Just like some doctors won't get on board with prescribing diet pills. I feel like they really just don't understand our struggles. I'm glad you moved on. I feel like your old pcp could have used this opportunity to familiarize himself with the pros and cons of wls, before jumping the gun. Then he doesn't even have the balls to face you himself, what a coward.
  10. I plan to get my teeth whitend, I figured it will help me glow more a nice smile can really add to weight loss.
  11. I love these, you should be able to tolerate these during your post op stage.
  12. Congrats to you and your sister. Remember everyday your journey will get a little better/easier.
  13. I feel ya... The gym is kinda boring. Have you tried walking outside. I've personally started bike riding. Take advantage of the weather, also it helps if you plan it with someone. So plan a walk with a friend, spouse or sibling. This way it's not so easy to wiggle your way ou of.
  14. I have lost 50 pounds since my highest weight. I'm still in my 18-20's however I must admit they were tight on me, and now they are really loose on me. I do have a bunch of size 16's but they are not plus size, so I think it will take me 20 more pounds before they fit me. I'm sure I could fit into a 16 from lane Bryant, but I'm not gonna go buy anything, and I'm trying to swear off the plus size clothes.
  15. I actually bought mine from hsn. It's the proform proshox elite 2. I paid $1000 for it, but that was well over a year ago. Itself was my first experience with the hsn, and I love it I did 4 payments of $250 delivery was free. Anyhow I love my treadmill and when I was looking at hsn they did have very similar ones as far as the brand in your price range. I use my treadmill as well as my husband and son, it's still going strong. So on my treadmill it is just as good as the ones in the health clubs, maybe better because mine is ifit compatible, and it has speakers that you can hook your iPod/mp3 to. The incline is insane I wanna say it goes upto 12. My son runs like upto 7mph and it's sturdy as heck. Also mine has an extra long belt (I have long legs) and it was able to support 300-350 pounds.
  16. Your doing great, the difference is very noticeable. Keep up the good work.
  17. You look Awsome!!! Congrats and continued success.
  18. Beef is really tough, have you tried cooking it in a crock pot, it is much more tender. That's the way I cook my pork and beef. Try it it's easy and tasty.
  19. Nope. If I could have done this on my own I would have. I didn't go into this journey thinking this was the "easy" way out. I knew it wouldn't be easy, no regrets.
