I'm 21 and I am 3 months post op!

It's difficult for me to see, or at least admit there is a difference. I'm about 3 months out and 53 lbs down and all of my clothes are too big and everyone else notices my weightloss and in pictures I can tell. I would say that at about 35 lbs down ppl really started to notice.

I was sleeved on may 4th and I'm down 21 lbs!

A Couple of years ago I bought this really cute bathing suit off season so it was pretty cheap but it was too tight. But since it was so cheap I had to buy it haha. Anyway, I'm going out of town to a friends house and she has a pool so just for giggles I tried the bathing suit on and it fit perfectly! It was even a little loose! Very exciting

Surgery went very well! I'm in the hospital going home today or tomorrow the pain is not that bad it just feels like I got a pretty good abdominal workout. Overall this was a textbook surgery no complications whatsoever!

I'm sitting in the pre op section of the hospital hooked up to the iv and waiting for my time! Excited and nervous!! having some pre op jitters but I know I'm doing this for the right reasons! I can't believe this is real!

My surgery is tomorrow! I'm very excited but also very nervous! Any advice on calming my nerves or last minute advice before I go under the knife?

I have bcbs NC and I only had to have a bmi of 40 or 30 with one comorbidity, psych eval, and nutritionist visit some blood work and my doctor ordered an upper gi. I was aprroved in 2 days and they cover it 100%!

May 4th!

IM having my last pre surgical consultation with my surgeon thursday ( my surgery is may 4th) at any rate what are some good questions I should ask him prior to surgery?

Yesterday I found out I was approved for the sleeve and today my date was set! On may 4th I will begin my WLS journey! I'm so excited! Do any of yall have any advice or words of wisdom as I begin this journey?

Thanks!!! , I have not talked with my surgeon yet, just the insurance but when my pre- surgical coordinator submitted the paper work they said it would be on the 20th of this month which I may Have to change to the 27th for work reasons ( insurance gives me 90 day window to reschedule is need be) but it's soon and that's all that matters!
