  1. With my insurance, I had to do the 6 month visits. I was finished with that in June. I have my cardiac appts. and that will be it. Hopefully.
  2. Whoa! It seems like yesterday, I wrote 90 day countdown and here it is already past my checkpoint of 60 days. Where has the time gone. I have spent time researching, reading, watching videos, encouraging new comers, supporting vets all the while...stressing over my own circumstance. It is a good stress though, because I am anxious for the things to come. I already anticipate greater opportunities for my life. It starts with my health but encompasses a great deal more. I'm here and I can't stop until I have reached my goals. 55 days will soon be 5 days and before you know it I will be PatientlyWtng no more! Be Blessed!
  3. Congratulations on your success! You look great.
  4. Congratulations on you sucess!
  5. I guess I'm not following. Is the surgery you chose not working? Then are you also saying the RNY is reversable?
  6. Congratulations, you have done well. Thank you for sharing. Yes, I look forward to working toward my success. What a beautiful dress as well.
  7. I know it may be a bit premature to start my countdown, but why not. These 3 months, 12 weeks, 90 days...etc., will be here before I know it. With my schedule, it will sneak up on me and I will be frantic trying to get everything accoplished within the last few days. My name is PatienlyWtng. I am going to excercise every bit of patience that I can. I have been purchasing what I think I need a little bit at a time. I'm now preparing for two out of town guests who will spend a week with me. Once I have all those plans squared away, I can return the focus on me. Oh and let's not forget, I still have work and school to factor in. So if starting a countdown will help me stay on track...then that is what I will do. Besides, this will be a permanent record of how sane I remained in all of this. I'm ready....for this ride to ExceLlynTLiving! Join me...
  8. If you have Meijer, they have them there as well.
  9. Yes, this happed with me as well. However, the insurance company told me why over the phone. I have since been approved.
  10. Uh...yeah, no sleep for you! LOL Seriously, much success to you in a few hours.
  11. I truly understand what you say. I was denied initially due to a missing medical clearance. Waited about 2 weeks from that and have just gotten an Approval today! The initial response came exactly within 7 days through Cigna.
  12. That is a great idea.
  13. I believe presented in a different manner you husband may come around. Because this is major surgery, he may have some apprehensions as to the outcome. Try to broach the conversation differently, if you can by asking open ended questions. Explain that this is the better choice for a long, healthy, happy life with him included. Ensure him that the physical benefit will be for the both of you. The health aspect will be yours. It may be an ego thing...it might not be. Only you will know as you know him best. As for support, this site and a few others do have those who will get you through, but it's nothing like the support of your mate. Let him know you really want this and you will be more at ease if you have his support.
  14. Hi, I haven't been here in awhile, but I had to stop in and say that I purchased my Tagine last weekend. I caught it on sale at the store. So happy to have it and can't wait to start creating.
  15. I want to purchase one, but have been afraid to because of the weight restrictions. However, my classmate is a personal trainer and strongly suggested the trampoline to me. Let me know how it works. I still want to purchase one though.
  16. You sound as if you are doing well. Keep it going.
  17. Favoredone, we have something in common! Yay! Dr. Cahill is my surgeon as well. But I see him in Dyer, In. There was a gentleman there who had his surgery where you did with Dr. Cahill. I too liked my visit with Dr. Birhahu. Hope I can share more of your satisfaction when I finally have the surgery.
  18. This is amazing! You look great! Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing!
  19. Congratulations on the Sleeve. I'm glad that you informed them ahead of time.
  20. How about ginger tea! I understand it is good for digestion (ginger).
  21. I don't know if I could say much more than any of the others have said...but I'll try. Ah-ma-zin-g! Both are beautiful because they are you. Own it!
  22. I hope that is my story. I'm in my early 40's and just don't wnat to have another surgery if at all possible.
  23. For the Torani syrups, you may also visit their website, enter in your zip code for a local retailer near you.
  24. I'm with you on that. But I keep coming back bumping my head against the wall.
