  4. I am 6 years out and have regained about 40 pounds. I have stopped following the rules and am trying to get back on track. I hate feeling like a failure. I am still trying how to deal with stress without eating. It’s going to take awhile to figure it out.

  6. The hospital billed my insurance close to $50,000. I paid about 1400 out of pocket. If you were a cash patient the charge is $10,000 with my surgeon.
  7. My surgeon is 4.5 hours away and I only see the NP for about 5 minutes. fter my last appointment I am wondering why bother, I can follow up locally with my PA. My bloodwork is fine and I have support from my NUT by phone or email when necessary.
  8. I am right there with you. I am so angry with myself! I was doing great and then life took over. I keep finding so many reasons no to get back on track. I really need to find some motivation.

  12. I cleaned mine out last weekend. It was bittersweet to let go of them. I have a post op visist on Monday and am dropping them off at a resale shop for my surgeon's bariatric patients.
  13. What is everyone doing for the nasty rashes from the belly rub?? Its difficult (and embarrassing) to exercise with the flap flopping trying to exercise. Any suggestions? I have to lose 100 pounds before insurance will pay for a panni..only 44 more pounds to go.

  15. Do you track calories or just protein and fluid intake?? I wasn't given a daily carb amount. Do you track it too? My nut hasn't told me to keep track of calories but my scale isn't moving so I thought I might need to keep track of it.
  16. You are full of new ideas for me thanks! I will be trying some of them out soon.

  20. The cauliflower browned sounds good! I keep spoiling my family and make the starches but my one bite became 2, 3 and more. So I have to cut them out completely. Do you have a surgery date yet?
