  1. Don't expect to lose weight until you get several fills (for most people). But you know what, if my insurance had covered the sleeve I believe I would have gone that route myself. But I have lost 80 pounds with the band and I am happy for myself!
  2. Pretty smart stuff right there.................
  3. The great thing about the band is you can ALWAYS start over! Don't give up hope, though I know it can be difficult. Just tell yourself you are going to have fresh start and follow the rules the best you can. Take control of your life..... you can do it!
  4. Well this is weird...... because I have less gas than before. I assumed it was because I was eating healthier. Now I am not sure.
  5. It took me about 7-8 fills. Can't exactly remember now but I have it in my office somewhere.
  6. I had to look it up myself. lol I eat chicken but no other meats. What does that make me?
  7. I wish I could blame it on my parents! lol (not saying you guys are) But I have always been very eager to finish what was on my plate. It is all my fault.
  8. Congrats Stephanie! There are a lot of smart and experienced people on here who have been successful. We can all learn from their experiences. But as far as I know none of us are doctors. Keep that in mind.
  9. How did things turn out? Hopefully well!
  10. I would love to be able to eat those meals but I am diabetic and must count carbs.
  11. I can't eat anything but slider foods for breakfast so I settle for a protien shake and my meds. I too have had trouble with eggs and have given up on them.
  12. You are spreading misinformatiion I believe. How about some links to back up your claims?
  13. You seem really ignorant. Do yourself a favor and do more research. Either that or stop trolling......
  14. My doc said to crush/cut anything bigger than an aspirin. Of course as you know some pills cannot be crushed. I have been able to crush, or cut, all of mine or get a liquid replacement. Congratulations on your band!
  15. I am on the injectable testosterone and have been for several years. (shot in the hip every two weeks) I have lost 80 pounds and it hasnt changed my levels at all. I'm still pretty fat though, so that may have something to do with it. Is weight loss supposed to help this?
  16. Okay thanks Alex. The "push" really had me stumped.
  17. Good for you!!! I know it feels great!
  18. I am looking under notification preferences and don't know the difference between: Notification List Email Push Notifications Not sure what checking or unchecking does for these options.
  19. Good luck bratt! If I ever have to lose my band I will give the sleeve a serious look myself.
  20. My doc gives out 1cc at a time and that is okay except it makes things more expensive when he goes slow like that.
  21. I need my scale even though it is 5 pounds off from my docs scale. Without monitoring my weight I fall into a pattern of doing what I want to.
  22. Every day. Keeps me motivated.
  23. 10 in my 14cc band. Second time in the green zone for me.
