  1. There is a "Big Lapband Book"?
  2. I see it now! Thanks. Wow! You look like you are already at goal to me. What a change! Great job! You are great publicity for your doc.
  3. I tried Firefox, IE and Chrome and the after picture won't show in any of them. Weird........... All I get is a little box that states "posted image". Guess I will just have to fantasize about your success. Bummer for me.....
  4. Missy I don't see an "after" picture. Have you deleted it?
  5. How are we gonna keep the rookies outta here?
  6. That is odd because my doc was encouraging me to drink that very day. They kept bringing me cups of water. I hear you about the getting out of bed though. Getting in and out was the hardest part for me.
  7. I am diabetic so I much watch my carb intake. I limit myself to 15 grams per sitting. and then must wait at least 3 hours before I take anymore in. Of course, I'll admit I can't always do it right.
  8. I had glue and showered the next day. Only got the incisions wet briefly and patted them dry. No problems.
  9. Good luck to you Blondie. Let the fun begin!
  10. Missy you are right on target. Couldn't have said it better myself!
  11. How did you do on your pre op diet? That was tough for me.......
  12. I'm jealous! Nobody is trying to scam me. I feel so unloved.
  13. How are these noodles carb wise?
  14. So are you gonna help the guy out?
  15. I was in pain and took meds for a couple of days. Kept me up at night.
  16. What an amazing difference! You should be so proud of yourself. And, I like those shoes in the last pic.......
  17. Okay thanks man. I was wondering how some people have changed theirs to whatever they want.
  18. If that is the case wouldn't carbonation have been stretching our stomachs all these years. Why would it just stretch the pouch. Seems to me if you burped that would rid the pressure. That is why we burp anyway isn't it? To remove gas from our system...... Just thinking out loud here..........
  19. I know how you feel. I never looked like I weighed 388 pounds (at my peak) and most people were very surprised at how well I got around as I was pretty agile for a fat guy. I'm sure everyone agreed I needed to lose weight but maybe felt it wasn't manly to have surgery. Oh well, only I know how terrible I felt and how many times I had tried and failed to lose weight on my own.
  20. Why am I? Can I change it because it looks like some people have changed their title? Thanks in advance.
  21. It might take many fills. Everyone is different,
  22. I stayed overnight and just wore the gown they gave me. I did put my underwear back on underneath.
  23. I guess the nerves are normal for most people. I was afraid I would die in surgery if anything. But just having the band won't necessarily make you lose weight all on it's own. You will have to work it by eating properly. I believe most people do well with the band. But some don't........
  24. Yea I would get that looked at. It should be better than that at this point. (I'm not a medical person though)
  25. I would call the docs office and see if the nurse thinks you should come in. Is it redder now than it was before?
