  1. I believe I would go to the doctor or the ER with this going on. Please do something...........
  2. Donna you are not alone. My wife pulled the same trick on me.... always working late etc. I finally got suspicious and hacked into her email and found all of the love letters. The whole thing was very painful so I know how you felt/feel. Looking back it was the best thing that ever happened to me.... to get the truth out so I could move on with my life. Maybe you don't know it but it is a good thing for you too. Living in a web of lies and deceit just SUCKS. I will keep you in my prayers.
  3. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear everything went well. Now start walking!
  4. Wow Man great job. You don't look like you have any loose skin. I'm envious.
  5. I don't even try to make people understand. They live their life, I live mine. It's just easier that way, for me.
  6. I would not trust any doctor who told me I could eat right after a fill. That sounds nuts to me. But everyone is different I suppose. Maybe it will work for you. I just want to go on record that I advise against it. But I am not a doctor........
  7. Sorry but you need to find out from you doctor and do what he says. So many doctors are different with their rules on these matters.
  8. My doctor says I can do anything I want to. But I assume he didn't mean getting punched in the stomach, like in boxing or whatever.
  9. Now you are someone I can relate to! I have rolled plenty of barb wire and have the scars to prove it. lol Do you have a front end loader on that tractor? That is what I use to pull post up with. Glad to see a country gal on here!
  10. Oh and I got my protein in and took biotin also, still do....... biotin has done wonders for my brittle nails.
  11. It took almost a year for my hair to stop falling out and then grow back to it's normal state. But you know what, it still seems a little thin to me after 15 months.
  12. From a diabetics point of view I can tell you most cereals are high in carbs and therefore a no-no. Might not apply to a normal person though so I guess I can't really answer your question. No doubt someone will in a few minutes.
  13. Va Va Voom!
  14. I've got 10cc in a 14cc band and I can tell I will need more as I have lost a little more weight and it has loosened somewhat. Going in for another fill on Feb 19th.
  15. Sorry to interrupt, but what happened to your ticker CG?
  16. I read somewhere it is for people who have had the band six months or more, 100 or more posts.
  17. It took me about 10 days to hear from BCBS Federal. I never called or checked on it with them, just waited.
  18. I see your ticker loud and clear CG. Not sure how that helps you though....
  19. Here is a short but good article..... http://health.yahoo....mFQ2ySsY.mailto Also check out the link immediately below called testosterone shortage. A testosterone shortage could cost you your life. As if losing muscle mass, bone density, and your sex drive to low T levels wasn't bad enough, new research shows the decline can also increase your risk of prostate cancer, heart disease, and even death. Follow these steps to lift your levels and lengthen your life. 1. Uncover Your Abs As your waist size goes up, your testosterone goes down. In fact, a 4-point increase in your body mass index, about 30 extra pounds on a 5'10" guy, can accelerate your age-related T decline by 10 years. For a diet that'll help keep your gut in check, try the all-new Men's Health e-book, The Six-Pack Secret. You'll learn how to sculpt rock-solid abs in 4 weeks. We believe it's the most effective muscle-up weight loss program ever. 2. Build Your Biceps Finnish researchers recently found that men who lifted weights regularly experienced a 49 percent boost in their free testosterone levels. "As you strengthen your muscles, the amount of testosterone your body produces increases," says David Zava, Ph.D., CEO of ZRT Laboratory. You need to push Iron only twice a week to see the benefit. 3. Fill Up On Fat Trimming lard from your diet can help you stay lean, but eliminating all fat can cause your T levels to plummet. A study published in the International Journal of Sports Medicine reveals that men who consumed the most fat also had the highest T levels. To protect your heart and preserve your T, eat foods high in monounsaturated fats, food such as fish and nuts. A Fat MORE Dangerous than Trans Fat? 4. Push Away From The Bar Happy hour can wreak havoc on your manly hormones. In a recent Dutch study, men who drank moderate amounts of alcohol daily for 3 weeks experienced a 7 percent decrease in their testosterone levels. Limit your drinking to one or two glasses of beer or wine a night to avoid a drop in T. 5. Stop Stress Mental or physical stress can quickly depress your T levels. Stress causes cortisol to surge, which "suppresses the body's ability to make testosterone and utilize it within tissues," says Zava. Cardio can be a great tension tamer, unless you overdo it. Injuries and fatigue are signs that your workout is more likely to lower T than raise it.
  20. Hang in there the worst is almost over. And yes, not being able to burp was a bummer. You will be so glad you did this!
  21. "SOME" of the Atkins bars are pretty good. But you might spend a fortune finding one you really like. Or maybe not.....
  22. I have trouble with beef so I avoid it. But I eat a lot of chicken and a little fish and pork loin. Birds and pigs are what I like!
  23. My humble advice is to make sure you have tried everything else and given it as much effort as you possibly can before considering surgery. You are still so young and I know it must be hard for you to be big. But to me surgery is a last resort, not a first one. Regardless I think the first step is to talk to your family doctor about it and go from there. Or maybe you could find a lapband surgeon in your area and attend one of his seminars.
