  1. Now you are someone I can relate to! I have rolled plenty of barb wire and have the scars to prove it. lol Do you have a front end loader on that tractor? That is what I use to pull post up with. Glad to see a country gal on here!
  2. LOL, God no! My wife has more class than that.
  3. Sounds like you were doing a pretty good job of bashing your husband. I am sure he appreciates you doing it publicly to strangers.
  4. I'd like to hear his side of the story. You sound like you have an attitude problem.
  5. I have taken vitamins all of my adult life so there has been little change for me other than moving to chewable vitamins and adding Biotin.
  6. And keep in mind that probably none of us are either!!
  7. I believe sf jello is considered a clear liquid. Lets see what others say about it.
  8. USAF 1977-1987 Lets hear from any country, any branch of service!
  9. Luckily, all of my doctors have been VERY supportive of my decision to get the band. It would have been a bummer to encounter resistance from them. You need to surround yourself with supportive people before, during and after surgery!
  10. Whatever surgery you chose I hope it is with a Dr you feel comfortable with. If you chose the band you are going to be dealing with this Dr a lot. Good luck and say hello to Hayley Westenra for me.
  11. Tucker you mentioned meds and you may be right. That could be all she needs to help her with whatever is causing her attitude problems. Of course getting her to admit she needs help and go to the doctor is a whole 'nuther problem. But if she has anxiety or depression it would be so easy to remedy. Course I am not a medical professional. Just based on my own experience.......
  12. Boy ain't that the truth. Not too mention all of the "old wives tales" that come up almost daily about the band.
  13. I caught that Bon Jovi reference.
  14. Howdy! A lot of people have had success with the band. Glad to have you join us.
  15. Great name "thunderbeast" I was in pain for about two days. I'd call the doc about not being able to drink though. You don't want to mess with dehydration.
  16. I wouldn't know. I only come to the forums. Does seem strange though that they stop talking like that.
  17. That is way cool bro. Way to go!
  18. Tell us why you got banded people. Explain your reasons if you care to. Was it to improve your looks? A specific health issue? General well being. I think it will be interesting! I got banded to get my diabetes under control and to improve my overall health. I was tired of being tired! I gave up on my looks a long time ago. (see avatar)
  19. I know how you feel. I would get soooo tired at times from doing the simplest things. I hope you get good news Wednesday. Good luck!
  20. You want to go by the scale that is calibrated regularly. If you buy your own scale are you going to have it calibrated every 3 months?
  21. My doc said let come off on it's own.
  22. My day wasn't as tasty as you guys. I had 3 protein shakes and a couple of Crystal Lights.
  23. I'm sorry but I don't see anything normal about crying after surgery. My back was killing me, but other than that I felt relieved I had finally taken the first step to better health. It never occurred to me to cry. Maybe it is just a girl thing.
  24. Some people lose hair after being put under for surgery. I don't think protein will help that part but it might help it bounce back. About all you can do is get your protein in, take biotin. Someone mentioned zinc one time, but I don't know anything about that.
  25. Good luck. I hope everything goes well for you!
