  1. Their calcium citrate choc chews are so much cheaper than the Celebrate Brand. I get them on auto ship for 9.99 but I love them so much, I get 2 bags for 19.98. The Celebrate ones are over $100! Their customer serivce was great when they accidentally sent me the wrong flavor one time. They sent an extra bag to make up for it.
  2. The best thing ever invented are those crock pot liners. I am using my crock pot way more now! There are some good recips online from a site called skinny crock pot. I googled slow cooker and crock pop and got tons of sites with great recipes.
  3. There is a huge list of protein drink recipes in the food forum. I am pretty sure it's under protein drinks.
  4. Everyone is different . I could have gone on a trip 4 days after surgery, easily. I went back to work on Monday after having surgery on the Wed. before. I guess that was 5 days after surgery. You don't know how you're going to feel though. There are plenty of people who say 2 weeks after surgery, they still felt really lousy. If you can reschedule your surgery for after the trip, it's probably the way to go.
  5. It scares me that I can eat way more at 3 years than I could at a year. I try to just eat the amount I always ate before I hit the 3 year mark, even though I could eat more. I am lucky that I love my Protein shakes, and I am never really hungry. If I end up eating too much and I gain back some weight, I go right back to Protein Shakes. Losing weight was easy. Maintenance is much harder.
  6. I googled cupping and could not find anything out about it.

1 % is what I've always been told.
  8. Sometimes the samples are half servings, so you add less water. I've never used more than 8oz of water in any protein drink, no matter which brand.
  9. Has anyone tried Hood Carb Countdown chocolate milk? I use half a cup of this and half C Water and it sure makes delicious shakes. PVL whey gourmet in Peanut Butter and chocolate is fantastic tasting. You can get it at Netrition.com
  10. I'm waiting for packages from them too. I get the calcium citrate choc. chews on auto ship. They always email me when it's been shipped. It was shipped friday.
  11. I went to Victoria Secret. They could not fit me. My boobs are too small.
  12. My boobs must have been total fat. I am now in a 34 A that is too big for me in the cups
  13. I am so sorry to hear this. I know Crohns is a horrible disease to deal with. I hope your doctors have some answers for you. There has to be something they can do for you, to stop the throwing up and diarhea. Please keep us posted. You will get wonderful support here. Hugs to you (((Haley)))
  14. Your best bet would be to go to the food forum here and look at all the places you can get samples. It's hard to settle on one this early out. I would get a whole bunch of different samples for now. I think Matrix is a really good product. It's low calorie and low carb.it's also made by Syntrex, the same co. that makes nectar, but it's not very sweet. You can get it at vitacost.com
  15. My friend does this all the time, and she was sleeved 3 years ago. I read that it's considered an eating disorder, but I don't understand why. It's not the same as bulemia. That sounds dangerous, forcing yourself to puke.
  16. Click is pretty popular in the mocha flavor. All the coffee drinkers seem to really like it.
  17. Most people seem to have problems with eggs . I see this over and over again. You would think because they are soft and seem mushy that they would be a good food for a sleeve but most people say they are not.
  18. did you drink something carbonated? I am sure you did not harm your sleeve. At the most, you probably swallowed some air. Have you tried gas X?

I've never seen Special K Protein. I have seen plenty of Special K, but none of it says protein on it.
  20. I think Gavescon works way better than Mylanta. Has your doctor considered changing your PPI? Some that work for one person may not work at all for another. I do really well on Protonix.
  21. All of my old clothes are what saved me as I was going down in sizes. I didn't want to buy a bunch of stuff that would not fit as I was losing. I finally was able to get rid of it all and much more. At 3 years, I hope I stay this size forever.
  22. What did your doctor say you could have at one week post op? I was on liquids for 3 weeks, so I took RTD protein drinks to work.
  23. I am Greek and this is a Greek soup all my relatives make. I have been too lazy to make it, but your recipe makes it sound so much easier. I am going to attempt to make it. I have always been afraid because my mother told me so many times how easy it is to curdle it.
  24. Stress causes me to lose weight. I lost about 35 lbs when my husband died. (a long time before I was sleeved) I wasn't eating differently. If anything, I was eating more because I turn to sweets in times like that. Recently, around Christmas, I had a big family emergency and I was stressed out for about a month, and I lost 10 lbs. During that time, I went to Disneyland, and ate junk food for a week. Unfortunately, once the problem was resolved, I gained it back. I was not overeating or anything. I just went back to my normal weight.
  25. I bought some pills online that are supposed to get rid of the smell if you take them before you eat. I don't even know if they work because I can never smell mine. Other people do though. I get plenty of comments. I know sugar causes it. I had like a 5 min long one at my daughter's house after eating some of my grandson's birthday cake. Luckily, she was the only one in the room. She said I stunk up the whole room. I could smell nothing. I should have remembered to take that pill!
